I cannot find a answer to this with search but with the default Poweramp app I can use the built in eq over chromecast audio but I haven't got the stand alone eq app to work when casting spotify to my chromecast audio. Is this even possible? Thanks. -
So basically when I cast something the tv shows the name of the track but no cover art and no sound and Poweramp just goes back 5 seconds when I play it but on my other phone it works just fine and even try deleting it and trying agian but the same thing happened Build 971-976 Samsung S20 FE Andriod 13 (stock)

Poweramp build: 941-945 Android Version: 12, ColorOS 12.1 Device: Oppo A74 5G Steps to reproduce: connect to a Chromecast device via Poweramp, and then close the session. The chromecast volume still remains in the volume tray of my device until I reboot the entire phone. This does not happen with other apps such as YouTube or Spotify.

Hi all, Samsung S20 FE 5G, Android 12, One UI 4.1 Poweramp build-945-bundle-play [945004-2d535bbf] Full Version 64 bit Since the latest Poweramp update (build 945) the app is not able to cast via Google Chromecast to my TV while other players like VLC and BlackPlayer work fine. I open the player, try to cast and there's no sound, no album art and the cursor is stuck. I'm on the paid version, both Poweramp and Unlocker are set to non-restricted battery usage, WiFi is at 2.4, clicked on Restored to Default for every audio setting within the Poweramp app, I have reinstalled both, cleared cache, reinstalled also Google Home and Assistant to not avail. I have tried WiFi 5.8, same results. Some friends tried to cast with other phones and it works fine except for Poweramp!!! Problem is with Poweramp as I have mentioned, other apps are working fine.

When playing songs (from album list) to chromecast, and I've set a volume, song plays as desired volume. When song ends, next song automatically plays, also at desired volume. But.... If before the end of the song i click the skip button (to get to the next song) the volume resets to the previous (usually louder) volume. 1. The volume should not change when switching songs 2. Not sure where this initial volume level is sourced... It is always louder than i have ever chosen recently. I know there is another thread on this but it seems like it is being considered as resolved however I have been having issues for months. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. I haven't had it working at all in weeks now though. It's clearly not a fixed issue. Exactly the same issue as others, connects to the speaker, an audible sound is made to confirm that but the music doesn't play. The seeker moved for 3 seconds before looping back. App updated, everything rebooted. The free Hifi cast app works perfectly everytime so I can't see why this issue is just constant with Poweramp which I foolishly paid for. Now I'm having to use this ugly hifi cast app

cast Cast to a different device whilst already casting

I love the fact that you can cast to groups and chromecasts through the app, but it'd be great if it was possible to change what you're casting to instead of disabling the cast and then re-casting to the new device/group. So, whilst casting, you can still see the other groups/devices available to select. Google themselves only just started doing this recently, so not sure if it's available for others to do, but it'd be great if you could! -
When casting the screen displayed is too static. There needs to be a screensaver of some kind or it will leave permanent burn marks on my OLED TV screen.

build-905-arm64-play Samsung Galaxy A50 Android Version 11 No custom ROM Steps: I often enjoy casting it through chromecast to my tv and for months it has worked flawlessly, not losing sync, and showing the same album art in both phone app and tv screen, no complaints. Recently however, there has been a strange glitch, in when I click the cast icon and select my tv, it will show all the corresponding info in the proper places and everything seems fine except its missing the album art. Then when I click the play button on cell phone interface no audio output whatsoever, neither from the tv through chromecast nor through cell phone. On the cell phone the little progression visualizer on the bottom will advance for a small duration (like 3 sec) and then revert back to original position with no audio output whatsoever. There will be the indication that it is casting, and that it has an established connection to tv. I've tried turning the tv off, and restarting my cell phone, and I've assumed that maybe a prior casting connection (like from youtube or netflix) could have messed it up, although that's all speculative. However no combination of turning on/off tv or application or cell phone has worked out for me thus far. I'm really really upset about this since the only good speakers I have are the ones in my tv and the only reason I purchased Poweramp is for the chromecast functionality. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. thanx.
