  1. Please specify the following: Poweramp build number: I just downloaded it from App store your device model: lexus_mrw1920x720 (android head unit) your Android version: Nougat (7.0) your custom ROM name/version: alps/c200_en/c200_en:5.1.1/JOP40D/1524551747:user/testkeys Hello, I just purchased PA, and when I press on the track up/down button on my steering wheel, I hear a beep, but it doesn't change tracks. when I view the "last commands" I see it is recognizing I pressed the buttons but not sure why it isn't changing the tracks.... Any help w
  2. I was looking for a player that could handle a large collection on SD card for my Android head unit (Avison N8, Android 8.1) and Poweramp seemed to fit the bill. I installed it and everything worked really well. Until... When I set off it was immediately blocked by the head unit as 'video'. I don't know how it is recognised as video (Android permission?). Anyway is there a setting or workaround to allow it to run? (or do I have to defeat the head unit security...).
  3. When the app is in Android Auto mode, even though my music library comprehend artist pretty much from A-Z it only loads a part of them (precisely: A to J). Shuffling all the tracks actually makes Poweramp play pretty much all the artists. When the app is in Android Auto mode it follows the "Media channel audio stream" (I don't know if it is the precise name, but basically it is the volume you set when you adjust media sound in Android). This does not happen in all other players in Android Auto. I suppose Poweramp is designed to do so to have the ability of
  4. This is a bridge to enable support for Poweramp in Android Auto. To make Poweramp visible in Android Auto you need to enter the developer settings in Android Auto and enable "unknown sources": https://9to5google.com/2018/01/12/how-to-enable-android-auto-developer-settings-android-basics Please enable "Alyways Process Album Art" in the Poweramp Settings > Album Cover (feature of Poweramp v3) to ensure the correct album art is shown when the device is in sleep mode. Use Poweramp Build 709 for best support. Anything above might fail. Key features: - Playback control (no s
  5. I just updated to 814 from 812 and immediately started noticing auto-track-advance failures. Listened to 6 songs, 2 of them failed to advance automatically. Was listening over Bluetooth. First failure happened while phone screen was off, so I didn't see what happened in the app. The second time I was watching while it happened: The (static) seekbar went flat, and the next song's info displayed, but it did not start playing automatically. It also did NOT show the "File failed to play" sort of message that I've seen in older builds. Settings attached. Moto E4 Plus, Android 7.1.1,
  6. Bluetooth media features in current cars... well... suck. Android Auto is Google's and Android Open Handset Alliance's attempt to create the best experience for car infotainment systems without the features becoming a distraction to driving. With the advent of the Android Auto app on the Play Store yesterday, Google has released a documentation for audio playback: https://developer.android.com/training/auto/audio/index.html I think adding this to Poweramp would be a great addition. What do others think? I personally think the Android Auto (and Apple Carplay) are hugely underrated.
  7. Please día can you add download lyrics please?
  8. Does anyone reading this use Poweramp with their LG G5, and specifically with the Hi-Fi Plus Module DAC? What are the best settings to get the most out of it? Also, and this might require it's own thread...? I love Poweramp's auto resume music playback feature which occurs when we plug into the phone's headphone jack. It's especially amazing if you use your phone in the car. ANYWAYS... This feature doesn't work IF you are using LG G5's Hi-Fi Plus module. Upon re-plugging into the module's headphone jack, the phone needs to activate the module, and a small message appears indica
  9. Poweramp version and build number: 2.0.10-build-571-play (Full Version) Your device model: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) Your Android version: 4.42 My Poweramp will play the music automatically (even I pause it/didn't open it). When I watch the short video, for example, Instagram & Facebook, when I play the video with sound, Poweramp will start to play music automatically. But seems Youtube do not have this problem. It is very annoying, please fix it as soon as possible. *I have tried the function of "auto focus" tick/without tick, still not work.
  10. Hi there! First of all, congratulations for the great work you've done so far. I've test the free version and just 2 minutes after I was buying the full one because it was "love at first sight". I'm using Poweramp on my recently bought Android car stero (autoradio, or whatever you call it). It's one of these chinese units specific for VW cars, and it comes with Android 4.2.2 in a very nice working package (ebay seller, I won't say the name, stereo model ES9401). From my old WindowsCE-based navigation system I'm really missing the following functionality that perhaps you can bring into Powe
  11. I can understand the desire to have a music player resume playing a track I was listening to when it connects to BT. However, I do not understand why it would be desirable to have one's phone start a music player that was not open and start playing a random track from the phone's storage. This is what happens every time I get in my vehicle ('11 Toyota Tundra) with my HTC One. As soon as my phone connects to the truck's bluetooth, Poweramp starts up and starts playing an audio file of a recording I made of a training class. It was the same file every time, so 'random' in that I hadn't liste
  12. On my iPod, I use to have smart playlists I could build based on various different settings, so if I added a new metal song for example, it would automatically be added to my metal playlist. Or if I added a new song and rated it 5 stars, it would be added to my 5-star playlist. I used the rating system a lot I see PowerMP has a "Top Rated" playlist, but it seems to play anything I've rated. I accidentally rated some songs 5-star and didn't want them on my "Top Rated" playlist, so I just rated them 1-star. But the 1-star songs keep showing up. So two questions...can I totally erase the rati
  13. One feature I think would be fantastic is to better support bluetooth devices such as car radios which already have an amplifier and equalizer. When paired with a bluetooth device which has a built-in amp, it would be great for Poweramp to output a flat non-preamped signal over bluetooth. This way, amp volume, bass boost and various equalizer settings can be controlled only by the external device. However, when not paired to a bluetooth device which has it's own amp and equalizer, the Poweramp equalizer and volume controls would be used. As always, when wired ear buds/headphones are used, Pow
