  1. In a playlist that uses albums with existing album art, the art isn't displayed. Attempting to define album art for the playlist, "Data not available" is displayed briefly. Why is that, and is there a fix or work-around? Build: 875-876
  2. In several instances the presented artist and/or album art is hopelessly clueless. "Alpine Soundtracks" gets several versions of "South Carolina Living" magazine covers. There is nothing about generic Alps images. I have no idea how many other artists and albums are so afflicted. Being able to tweak the search terms should help with fixing that problem. Being able to include files will be helpful, too.
  3. Since I've started to switch using Poweramp, I've encountered a bothering issue that causes artwork to be heavily scaled down by a half of what the original artwork size was supposed to be, I didn't mind it at first. Until there are a couple of quality artworks that can toned down because of it. I've been trying to reach out other users in different online platforms but their response is almost always turn off your battery saver or it's an app issue that doesn't get fixed. I hope it gets a solution. I'm currently using an Asus Zenfone 4 Max on an Android 8.1 OS.
  4. Even after clean install (tested on 2 devices with different accounts) Steps to reproduce: 1) Settings - Album Art - Download Artist Images; 2) Open Artist category in library. Watch attachments. 50% artists images are broken with black cutouts, this bug from December 2018. To 100% reproduce this bug - try it on same artists: Arctic Monkeys, Asking Alexandria, Enter Shikari, Eminem, DevilDriver, Foals, Joy Division, The Knife, Metallica, Muse... Yes I can change art by manually but 99% of images - horizontally wide, if i change manually - there no crop a
  5. Album art should be fit if they're too large. 1280×1750. Doesn't fit fully.
  6. First of all, I really like the new update. It took a little getting used to but after some menu digging I'm finding it a real pleasure to use. My only suggestion would be in regards to the artist images, portrait and square pictures fit perfectly to their frames, however landscape orientation photos sit awkwardly and spoil the rounded aesthetic slightly. Is there a way to implement something to detect what the shortest edge of the image is and crop or zoom to that?
  7. A gif support would enable us to have cool animated lockscreens and animations playing in an album in-app
  8. I've noticed that some albums would have many different album arts within the album. Is it possible to have 1 standard art for the entire album? Also some albums are split, even though the tags have the same album name.
  9. Hi, I've been using Poweramp for years now mostly with the same collection of music. I recently purchased and downloaded some new songs and thought I would update my library with those songs. So I transferred them to my phone and then used the rescan library functionin Poweramp. Some of the songs show the album art and tag info, but quite a few of them do not. A lot of the songs in my library show the song title, but no album art and the artist is listed as "unknown artist," and the album is listed as "unknown album." I'm slightly perplexed, as I verified the tags are correct on
  10. There must be an option to change album art of created playlists
  11. After choosing "Auto download artist art" there's no way to revert back to using album art after Poweramp has downloaded images. The only current way is manually downloading an album cover and setting it individually for each artist. If you as a song to the queue while it is playing the last song, it will look as if the new song is playing (album art and only visible song in the queue), but audio will continue as normal. Whoever, when the song finishes the queue is exited and the new song is not played. Likewise, when exiting the queue (after having played some other list, it now ret
  12. I love the visualisations but I never use them because I prefer to see the album art. If the visualisations could be transparent with the album art behind it then this would be ideal, especially with some of the more subtle visualisations.
  13. any album art that's not roughly square gets stretched/compressed, pls help Samsung Galaxy S7 Snapdragon Poweramp alpha-build-704-uni
  14. Hello. When I apply skins, they have a quite big frame that takes up almost 1/3 of the album art pic. Is there any way to disable these frames? Thank you
  15. For some reason the album art gets stretched out on the Lockscreen. Is there any way to fix this? http://imgur.com/efzACQ
  16. Hi guys, Some of you have noticed that your (cover.jpg) album art is not displayed while browsing your .cue based album files. The problem is that normally the tags within your music file (.m4a/.mp3/.flac) would be blank because that information is set within the .cue file. The trick to getting Poweramp to show your art is to edit your music file "Artist" and "Album" tags to match the tags within your .cue file. Once you do this, the cover art should be recognized while browsing your albums. Folder structure Music file tags (.m4a file, not the .cue) Cue file Note-
  17. Have been using Poweramp for quite some time now and have my music laid out perfectly as I want it. A lot of my music had incorrect tags or ones that weren't right so I sorted it out all out and added album art for pretty much every song I have. I was wanting to copy my songs onto another device (possibly an ipod so using iTunes) however I think the album art is all saved on my S6? I think the tags will have changed but the art is in a separate location. Is there anything I can do to permanently change the album art on my songs or have it all set up right? Possibly copy all the songs and
  18. Hello everyone, I'm posting here because I have a little problem pretty annoying. I'll explain you : at first I found out that the cover of the last song (in alphabetical order) in an album will define the cover of the album in album view. The other songs can be something else than the album cover (single cover, artwork, etc...), the cover of the last song will define it. What I am doing is I rename on my computer the song from which I want the cover defining the album art as "artist1 _ title". This way it puts the song all at the end behind the "artist1 - title" songs, and this song defi
  19. I purchased Poweramp and when I tried to play my music it does not show anything about the track except a track number. I downloaded my music from Google play on my phone on my SD card. Everything shows correctly on Google Play. Is there anyway to correct this. I can't see my Albums, Album Art, or the Names of art and song. I am a newbie of Poweramp and only used Google play for music
  20. Not high priority, but a couple simple things that would probably make Poweramp even nicer: Maybe I'm imagining things, but aren't the small artworks on the album selection rectangular shaped? This causes most covers to looked vertically squished. Unless you guys did this intentionally, it would probably look better square (as this is the most common dimension of covers.) On related topic: Option to disable Artist/Album Title text from that screen for those of us who recognize our covers without need for artist and album text shown below the artwork.
  21. I'm testing some .m4a/.cue albums I've ripped. The first thing I've noticed is that embedded art doesn't seem to work at all for these albums. So I placed a .jpg image in this format: artist - album.cue artist - album.m4a artist - album.jpg This does work to display art while listing to each track of the album, however - no artwork is shown in the album/library selection screen. Is this a bug that can be fixed, or is there a way that I'm overlooking? Thanks.
  22. i think the title explains itself, when i change the album art for an album it only changes the cover for the song that is playing, i dont know if that is a bug or is working as intended but if it is then could you please add a way to change the art for the entire album it really sucks to have to change cover by cover of a single album.
  23. Hi, Does anybody have any tips or tricks to getting cuesheets to display a thumbnail in the Folder view? I have Folder.jpg image files in each folder along with the *.cue file and the *.mp3, and have also tried Cover.jpg and AlbumArt.jpg filenames for the image. The image is picked up fine by the main player screen, but is not used in the folder listing. Normal albums (folders containing *.mp3 files & a Folder.jpg) display a thumbnail as I would expect. The end result is quite untidy - some folders have thumbnails, some don't. I'm positive this used to work in an older version of Pow
  24. Hi, I am sending my phone to manufacturer for reformatting it. I am also changing my memory card(which currently has all the songs) and switching to a different memory card. How can I backup all the album art for all these songs? Also, is there any way to backup Poweramp cache? Thanks
  25. Device specifications: ● Android 4.4.2 ● TouchWiz 19505XXUFNC4 ● Galaxy S4 19505 (rooted) Poweramp specifications: ● 2.0.10-build-571-play (Full Version) Whenever I hold down the album art display, search for a new picture using the in app search feature and select one I want to display, nothing happens. All that is displayed is the stock "Poweramp" picture. The same thing happens if I try choosing from the "Pick From Gallery" option. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or is it a bug? Thanks.
