THIS HAS BEEN FIXED, SEE MY LAST POST I was first excited to hear that Poweramp finally got updated to v3 after such a long wait. However, I discovered that I still needed to use Notification Helper to display the notification controls bar. But I also discovered that I had another set of widgets alongside the ones from the Widget Pack (or so I thought). I uninstalled Notification Helper and the Widget Pack and then uninstalled and reinstalled Poweramp. The reinstall brought back the regular notification controller, negating the need for Notification Helper. However, I don't have my Poweramp widgets anymore. Do I seriously still need the Widget Pack for v3 on Oreo 8.1 (LineageOS)? Will updating LineageOS solve this issue, potentially? It's been almost a month since I last updated it. Thanks.
I have a Samsung G900A with MM 6.0.1 and Poweramp v3 alpha. Recently I have been playing long relaxation music, some 2 hours long, some 8 hours. I notice PA stops playing randomly. I'm not sure if it's PA v3 or some power saving function. To be clear, I don't have any power saving features activated. Then there's Doze, a MM feature. Any input would be helpful. Edit: I'm suspecting Doze may be the problem. Sometimes I set the phone down and that's when it's been stopping. Might need help with Doze. Thanks.
Hello all - I absolutely love Power Amp and I've been using the full version for a few years now. However, I've just upgraded to a Galaxy S5 from an S3 and, while I've been able to get the rest of the settings back to the way I like them, I have not been able to figure out how to have the lock screen controls show up. I use Poweramp on my phone in my car and it is a huge pain to have to unlock the phone and go into the main Poweramp GUI to switch tracks, etc. What am I missing? I feel like I've gone through all th options a million times and yet no matter what I try I cannot get the lock screen control widget to appear for me. Help? My thanks in advance! I'm on Android version 5.0 and Kernel version 3.4.0
