Hello! I've been using Poweramp for months now and I can say I am really satisfied with it, specially with having Hi-Res support on my Samsung device. I have a lot of Hi-Res files and some DSD files, and I have noticed that DSD is much quieter than PCM formats like wav and flac. This doesn't happen with my portable DAP (which natively supports DSD), which DSD has pretty much the same volume as PCM. I understand that Poweramp converts DSD to PCM since it can't actually play it natively, but it being lower volume is a little bit annoying. I wish there was an option in the settings that

why do not you break up the Poweramp equalizer for a separate Poweramp application? The Poweramp equalization options are the best and most complete, but only work on it. with the popularization of streaming music services, Poweramp fell a bit disused (I'm not criticizing the app, it's the best offline player on Playstore!). Hi. I have noticed, that Replay Gain in Poweramp sometimes not works. If I open settings, go to replay gain settings menu, disable and enable replay gain, it can (not always) start working again. Also, if it stopped working, I can't absolutely hear difference, when I change RG preamp and Tracks-Without-RG-Tags preamp.

I've moved my music from iTunes PC to my tablet. At that time I did not know much about normalizing in iTunes but processed all mp3 files using mp3gain in order to get a common sound level. Now I realized that iTunes normalization function, which I had enabled while all the files where only played on my PC , stores normalization data in a specific tag as well. So now I wonder, I guess I have TWO sets of normalization data in each file, and which takes precedence when I enable the ReplayGain feature. I also noticed that AAC files, also previously managed in iTunes, plays a a whispering sound le
