  1. One of my Yaps users Normann G. came up with the brilliant idea of having presets for a skin. For Yaps this make perfect sense as there are now so many options and permutations that saving presets would be very helpful. For example, a theme using the Gold settings for artifacts such as buttons, backgrounds etc could be preserved as a preset named Gold Theme. The user also has a theme based upon the Lime colours. Saving this as Lime preset. Switching would simply be by selecting the appropriate preset, much in the same way you select an equaliser preset. @maxmpcould you please consider this as something worthwhile to add Forum members, if you like this idea, react to this topic
  2. @maxmpI think there's a bug with the way Poweramp handles saving the eq presets per bluetooth device. Sometimes when i connect a device it shows the previous one and eq. and when switching the eq setting to the one i need then when the next song comes it switches back to the previous one again. sometimes if i turn on my headphones and back on then it will show up as the correct device. yesterday i had the speaker listed in there twice for the eq setting/device!!!! once was checked and the other was unchecked. I've been noticing these issues for the last few days. I hope there's a fix. either Poweramp is reading the wrong BT device or android is not consistent on what it's reporting.
  3. I like to set specific preset EQ settings to almost every music album/folder I listen. So I would like to be enabled to do that more quickly, in the way that when I set EQ and apply it to a specific album/folder/song, that I don't have to give it appropriate name and lose time on that. (Time consuming because that name should be long enough to ensure that it is different from all other presets.) I want to simply press 'save' without typing the name. Poweramp should be able to automaticaly give the generic name - for example the full name of that folder/album/song which I already marked anyway. Please make it possible. :-)
  4. Hey! I'm new to this forum (but not to Poweramp) so I hope this is the right place to make the thread. If not, I'm sorry. So I wanted to assign a custom EQ preset to my Chromecast. I go to the "Assign" window for the preset, select Chromecast, and click "OK". But the Chromecast icon doesn't appear near the preset name, like how it appears when I assign other devices like the headphone jack. I've disabled "No EQ/Tone" in Chromecast Output settings, and this problem remains. Did I miss something? Is this feature disabled by the developer for some reason? Any kind of help would be appreciated! Poweramp version: v3-build-826-play Android version: Oreo (8.1) Devices: Asus Zenfone Max Pro m1, Chromecast 3
  5. Currently you are able to associate "Bluetooth" with one of the stored equalizer presets. The current capability does not account for the need to have different equalizer settings for different bluetooth devices. In my case, I connect my device to six different bluetooth devices. There are other applications that are capable of detecting which bluetooth device is connected and customize the application settings based on that connected bluetooth device. A similar ability in Poweramp would be greatly appreciated. Also, it is not easy to temporarily suspend the preset association. For example if you have associated a given eq preset with the headphone jack, regardless of any manual eq preset selection, the associated preset will be reapplied in place of the manual selection as soon as the next music file is loaded. This feature is annoying and the ability to lock-in an override eq preset and then release it at some time in the future would be another plus. Thank-you, in advance, to all who take the time to read my post and comment. Cheers!
