Hi guys, I am using a Nexus 5 device and using Google Play Music to sync my music files onto my Android device for offline play. However, I wish to use Poweramp for my music playback - this is proving to be a great challenge as I am unable to load the music files I synced using Google Play Music because the Play Music is storing its music files in a folder that's inaccessible through normal means (i.e. without root) Could anyone offer any advice/pointers on how to get Poweramp to load the library of music I downloaded from Google Play that does not involve copy/pasting the music into a folder that Poweramp can access? Thanks!
Hello, I just handed in my bug report via the google form. This is what I posted: I have two Google Nexus devices, one older (Nexus S) and the new Nexus 7 (2013). On my Nexus S Poweramp works fine, but on the Nexus 7 folders do not get read in. I get this error message: Ordner sind nicht verfügbar. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich ob die SD-Karte bereitgestellt ist, die USB Massenspeicher Verbindung deaktiviert ist und Musikordner in den Einstellungen ausgewählt sind. Then I get 2 choices: Ordner auswählen and Automatische Suche. However, neither one works. I get a constant "Loading" message with a turning circle. As an update: After waiting for more than 5 minutes I suddenly got my folder structure with checkboxes. I chose a few I have music files in and clicked okay. However, in the "Poweramp Einstellungen" the first item (Neu einlesen) is grayed out and the loading circle continues turning. I still can't play any file/song. I would greatly appreciate your help. Regards jester
Now that the 4.0.4 update for g.nex is official, can Poweramp be updated for it. Scrolling the album list (with album art) in the library is choppy. I think we all know about the constant media scans. And, opening Poweramp from the launcher is inconsistent. Sometimes it wil open and run the ICS anim fine, but other times, it will rescan album art to update the app background and this will produce an inconsistent, choppy animation. It's to the point, that I'll either only launch from app drawer, or use google play music, which doesn't play my old wma files. Help!!! thanks. robb
