  1. Device info: Name: Nokia 6.1 Plus Android version: 9.0 (Pie) v3.54H ROM: Stock ROM Google security update: 1 July 2019 Poweramp version: v3 build-838-arm64-play (Full version) Problem: Okay, so Poweramp worked perfectly, but today I got the new security patch from Google for my device. After installing it, the Poweramp lock screen doesn't work anymore. I hope the devs will find the problem and come with a solution.
  2. Device and Software information: Device name - Nokia 6.1 Plus (Android One) Model - TA 1116 OS version - 9.0 (Pie) Poweramp version - v3 build 814 play (latest from play store) Problem - Poweramp lock screen freezes. But track keeps playing. Even the lockscreen functions work. But no change in display is seen. I'm able to pull down and interact with notification panel also. I've included 2 screenshots here. In one, you can see the frozen lock screen. In another you can see the notification panel where you'll see another track playing than it is seen on the Poweramp lock screen. Because Poweramp lock screen is frozen and didn't update itself as needed.
  3. The default Android music lockscreen UI doesn't work well on many devices or on custom roms (I have witnessed it myself). Also have limited option like just pause-play and next. That option in V2 to turn off the default Android lockscreen and have an exclusive Poweramp widget on lockscreen with very limited options (such as changing song and albums, repeat and suffle) was the best. It didn't allow you to have full access to Poweramp on the lockscreen (the way it is on V3 if you enable "show on lock screen"). Please please please keep the Poweramp lockscreen UI the same as in V2.
  4. In change log found info that issue already fixed but it still reproduced on my device. Device mode: Google Nexus 6 OS: Android 7.1.1 Poweramp version: RC 797. I don't know how should looks lock screen in this version but on "lock screen" I see the same player interface. Please correct me if I'am wrong (and attach screen shot how lock screen should looks) And if I changed lock screen option (e.g. turn of aulbum pictures) then it have no effect. So I assumed that it is not real lock screen. Also in previous version if lock screen activated then I observed additional app in active application manager. P.S. Sorry for my English.
  5. I cant open Poweramp direct from the widget. Only next, previous, shuffle and repeat keys are working in widget. But when it is touched somewhere else on the widget to open the player it remains unresponsive. In previous Google Play Store build was working fine. I'm using Android version 7.0.
  6. Poweramp version and build number: 2.0.10-build-588-play (full version) Your device model: Google Pixel (non-XL) 1st gen Your Android version: 8.1.0 (stock) Your Custom ROM name/version (if you're on custom ROM): N/A Bug: Notification pull down/lock screen controls appear white and do not work. They are there, even though they are invisible until touched. They don't do anything though. Video of issue below:
  7. I recently updated Poweramp after becoming a beta tester on Google Play Store. I realized that the Poweramp lock screen isn't showing anymore. It worked until I got the Alpha version. It's really helpful while listening to music but I don't know how to fix it. Please help! Phone: Samsung Galaxy J7 (SM-J700F) Android version: 6.0.1 Processor: 1.5GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 7580
  8. When using the "Enable Lock Screen" setting (not Android one) the lock screen will immediately re-activate if you unlock it too fast the first time. Doesn't matter if "Enable Android Lock Screen" or "Direct Unlock" are checked or unchecked. It unlocks successfully for a split second, then re-locks. Poweramp version and build number: 2.0.9-build-561-play (Full Version)Device model: VS985 4GAndroid version: 4.4.2
  9. Hi there, Being new to the Android family, I instantly fell in love with Poweramp as it fulfilled all my music needs. Recently I was tinkering in the settings and saw the option for testing of the new version. I enrolled and downloaded the alpha 3 version. Here are some of the bugs I've found. 1. The Poweramp lock screen doesn't work at all. 2. The album art sometimes goes missing in the notification area 3. DVC doesn't seem to be working in the Hi-Res output. Also the audio is crackling a bit. Reducing the sampling rate doesn't work. No crackling issue with Hi-Res output disabled. 4. You have to pause-play the current track for it to be scrobbled. Device details- Lenovo Vibe K4 Note (Vibe X3 Lite) running on Marshmallow 6.0 Do let me know if further information is required for debugging.
  10. Sound becomes Intermittent after I lock screen when using Hi-Res Output, this only happens when using battery..... Couldn't skip system unlock... LG G3 5.0.1
  11. On the old version of Android before I upgraded my phone the lock screen would have a zoomed in full screen album art that looked quite neat - I didn't see it very often because I had a cover that unlocked the screen when opened. Now that I'm on a later version of Android - Marshmallow - I don't get much on the lock screen. Is this down to the OS rather than Poweramp, or am missing some settings that can bring it back?
  12. Hello all - I absolutely love Power Amp and I've been using the full version for a few years now. However, I've just upgraded to a Galaxy S5 from an S3 and, while I've been able to get the rest of the settings back to the way I like them, I have not been able to figure out how to have the lock screen controls show up. I use Poweramp on my phone in my car and it is a huge pain to have to unlock the phone and go into the main Poweramp GUI to switch tracks, etc. What am I missing? I feel like I've gone through all th options a million times and yet no matter what I try I cannot get the lock screen control widget to appear for me. Help? My thanks in advance! I'm on Android version 5.0 and Kernel version 3.4.0
  13. Hi all, I have a really nit-picky issue that recently started happening on my Verizon Galaxy Note 4. Sometimes the album art on the lock screen just doesn't appear—only a black screen shows up. Other times, it seems like the album art has to load, so I see the black screen for a second or so before the album art appears. Sometimes when I am no longer listening to music, the black screen still appears. The controls for moving forward/backward between tracks appears without any problem. Just thought I would see if there is a simple way to fix the problem. I know that I can turn off the album art completely, but I'd rather not do that. Thanks!
  14. Implement Lollipop non-sensitive flag in Poweramp so we can use lockscreen controls. Pretty please!
  15. Anyone know why in Poweramp, the "Dim Background" feature under "Lock Screen" isn't working at all for my Galaxy Note 3 rooted? It's been working for the last few weeks but randomly stopped today. I get to see this dumb background instead of being all black: http://imgur.com/a/42YuL
  16. Hi, Can we get timer on the lock screen? Usually whole sleeping play some music with timer activated to stop the music after some minutes. Now many times I want to increase the time but to do so have to unlock and change the timer. Thanks in advance. Regards
  17. I use vertical wallpaper (1 screen) at launcher and I use power amp lock screen mod. once, I checked horizontal mod. then Wallpaper was distorted. So I thought it. I think it is good to do not change to horizontal. How about this? Thanks for read Sorry my bad English skill
  18. Hi, I love this app but stop resetting the setting "Enable Android Lock Screen" to "yes" everytime there is an update via Google Play. Just stop. I don't want it. No, shush. Stop it. Thanks! PS: I bought your app twice, you owe me that.
  19. SwiftKey keyboard shows over the Poweramp lock screen, if the keyboard was open before the screen was turned off. This makes it so that the keyboard needs to be swiped out of the way before the lock screen controls can be used. I am running Poweramp 2.0.9 build 550, Full Version, on a Samsung Galaxy S4. The Android version is KitKat, 4.4, from a custom ROM, LiquidSmooth 3.0. Any help or pointers are appreciated.
  20. I have the new htc one m7 On the stock lock screen you could swipe up the stock music player it would unlock the screen and take you straight to the now playing any chance of geting this implemented on power amp?
  21. When using the lock screen, Poweramp displays the message To Lock Screen preceded with an open lockpad. I am certain this is the wrong message and this should, instead, read To Unlock Screen. I am not a programmer, but I am pretty sure this message comes from Poweramp and not Android. If this is the case, could you please alter it accordingly, as it is at least misleading and at worst makes Poweramp looks unpolished? Alternatively, this could be updated to dynamically display Tap to Unlock Screen or Slide to Unlock Screen, depending upon the selected option [Lock Screen] -> [slide To Unlock] (tick/untick). Thank you, Otto Attached screenshot for illustrative purposes.
  22. I love the new power amp lock screen. Can you please add the option to control how long it takes the screen to time out on the lock screen. I like to place my phone on my windshield dock while I am driving. It would be nice if I could set it so the screen never times out while music is playing. Thanks for all the new features ... love the product.
  23. Hey, I'm wondering if it is possible to have an opition to use the lockscreen widget for music on Android 4.0. I'm not sure that it has open API, but I think so.
  24. I love Poweramp's lock screen, I just wish it would stay in place. Most of the time after I pause the music using my headset button the lock screen switches back to the default Android lock screen. So to start the music again I have to unlock my screen and use the widget to push play. It would be so much easier if the lock screen would stay permanently if the user chooses so. *UPDATE* I flashed my LG G2x with Cyanogenmod and LOVE IT. Cyanogenmod actually has an option to put media controls on the lock screen. Now I can start music form the lock screen and after that the Poweramp lock screen soon appears. It would still be nice to have the option to make the Poweramp lock screen permanent.
  25. Personally I think Poweramp is an awesome player, with one huge flaw; the lock screen app is not good. I was considering for a long time to suggest for you to try and achieve the simplicity of Samsung's functional ditto, including a slide-to-unlock feature. However, this week I accidentally stumbled over an old nifty Live Wallpaper that mimic a Walkman cassette player. After a couple of seconds brainstorming I realized that this would be a perfect Lock Screen App! Maybe based on a design like this: http://i.telegraph.c...an_1746181a.jpg With a visible, animated tape inside showing the current song written on it with some hand-written font of course. Roughly something like this: http://i44.tinypic.com/28vwrnk.jpg The best would perhaps to render some transparent plastic above the tape and of course tape wheels rotating the tape. Most phones are usually black around the display today, so a deep black theme for the frame would probably work best to make the lock screen appear like a seamless part of the physical phone. Player controls and unlock slider design could be inspired by buttons like these: http://www.walkmance...oducts/wm-ex618 The actual tape animation could either be done by 3D graphics or simply by looping a short HQ shot of an actual tape playing. A 3D render would give the ability to actually use the tape to show how long the player has gone though the current playlist, by moving the tape from left to right. Please at least consider this idea, as I like the Walkman theme, but think it would be a lot more suitable as a lock screen app instead of those wallpaper or basic apps available today. Remember that Android 4.0 will have better notification bar access at the lock screen, so any other info on the lock screen might just clutter the layout. A small and visible popup on the lock screen showing the number of missed calls and messages would be useful though.
