  1. Device: Samsung Galaxy S3 Android: 4.4.4 Rom: Custom Rom CM11 (ArchiDroid) Poweramp Version: 2.0.9 build 561 When I double press my Bluetooth Ear Headphone I hearing the beep but the track not move to next I am getting voice dial instead. I change in the Bluetooth setting to "Double/Triple press for next/prev. track" (play/pause working well) Pls advise Thanks.
  2. I'm using Poweramp on my car and home Stereo via Bluetooth. In the beginning everything worked fine but for a couple of days now the Music is in te rr u pt in g after a couple of minutes of playback. Very annoying and certainly what I don't need when I should concentrate on the traffic. I tried to adjust the settings like audio buffer or thread priority (which I never changed before) but no change. I shut down all apps before entering the car, tried with or without Internet connection - no result. I did not install any new application (maybe updates). I have no idea what else to do. Anybody go
  3. I have an (AptX) BT adapter in my car, however when I turn off the car the power is cut to the adapter. The phone (Xperia Z1, kitkat) doesn't realise this until about 30 seconds later (I guess the connection times out?). Poweramp then pauses, however the widget/notification/app doesn't show it - the play/pause button doesn't change to play. Next time BT is connected, it doesnt auto play. Pressing the play/pause button (still showing pause) causes the song to play from the begining. To get around this I've had llama (an events app) send the media pause command when the BT device disconnec
  4. I have a couple of issues with Poweramp on my android phone (Samsung galaxy stellar - Android 4.1.2). 1. Often the album art was wrong. So I went into settings, deleted the cache, asked for it to auto-download album art, and then went back to listening for a while. Now, most tracks have no art, and the few which do are totally and utterly wrong. I've got albums with images of a newspaper article! I've got songs with random web page icons. I redid the same "delete cache" and there was some point where I could see a list of possible art choices for the current tune. All of them were abs
  5. Hello, this has been already many times asked in this Forum. I'm talking about 'Short Audio Focus' and Poweramp. Actually the only way that Poweramp handles 'Short Audio Focus' is pausing the song. This is actually nice if you have headphones connected and you don't want to listen to your song on the external loudspeaker when a message or whatever arrives. Ok, till there everything is fine. But it's not the same while connected via Bluetooth to your car head unit. So in combination with a Navigation app (Let's say TomTom for example) + Poweramp, every time the navigation says you should turn
  6. My car stereo has options to enable shuffle and scan (10s per track) modes when playing via bluetooth. However, Poweramp doesn't seem to honor this setting yet. It would be nice if it was supported in a future version.
  8. I'm running PA v 2.0.9-550-play on my Nexus10 running with the stock ROM with Android 4.4.2. Whenever switching applications PA stutters on playback over bluetooth. It'll generally play fine except when switching songs. Other players on the same tablet don't have issues, and it doesn't seem to matter what else is running.
  9. I'm in the process of migrating to Poweramp from Meridian -- finally I can have bluetooth track info support, plus some other minor annoyances solved, and generally I like it better =) However, I found a small bug: the track info for the first track in an album (folder) is not sent to the bluetooth headset. It does not matter if you start it from a folder list or come to it using Prev/Next buttons (even when going Next to the next folder). All other tracks (2..Last) are displayed normally. Poweramp 2.0.9-build-548-play Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), Android 4.3, Stock ROM Thanks in advance!
  10. I can understand the desire to have a music player resume playing a track I was listening to when it connects to BT. However, I do not understand why it would be desirable to have one's phone start a music player that was not open and start playing a random track from the phone's storage. This is what happens every time I get in my vehicle ('11 Toyota Tundra) with my HTC One. As soon as my phone connects to the truck's bluetooth, Poweramp starts up and starts playing an audio file of a recording I made of a training class. It was the same file every time, so 'random' in that I hadn't liste
  11. Hi there, really hoping somebody can give me a secret-sauce recipe to fix my problem. Samsung Galaxy S4, recently updated itself to kernel 4.3 When playing techno or Pink Floyd where the songs are intended to blend together, Poweramp inserts a brief "pause" command when switching from one track to the next. I know it's a "pause" command because my car stereo is showing the command and then it quickly disappears as Poweramp moves on to the next track. This behavior does NOT occur with headphones plugged in. Strangely, I have seen Poweramp not insert the pause on a couple of occasions w
  12. My (Full featured/bought) Poweramp on my Sony Xperia ZL has a weird feature. Only in my car (Ford Focus) it starts playing via bluetooth, so far everything is ok. At the start of a new song within a second pause is pressed (actually visible) and immediately pressed again so the song continues. Problem is you have a second interrupt. This only happens with setting CyanogenMod Metachanged Intent on the selection 'Sony #3' in the bluetooth settings of Poweramp. I've selected this setting because only with this setting the song and artist info is shown on my car display. If I select any other opti
  13. When the phone connects to a bluetooth receiver, it works very well. However, when the connection is completed (through the receiver), it is common to not be able to start the music. Even after the bluetooth connection. PLAY PAUSE actions and have no effect, and the counter (minutes and seconds) no longer advance. I have to crash the application to restart the music.
  14. I only discovered Poweramp last week, and I must say that I'm very impressed! Ease of use, sound quality, responsiveness, it's a hell of a thing. I've been using it with my car's BT audio controls. Most of the controls work, but a few don't, and I don't know if there's something I'm doing wrong, or if it's just something that hasn't been implemented. The car's audio controls include folder navigation buttons as well as random and repeat buttons. These don't seem to have any effect on Poweramp. Should they? I haven't tried fiddling with the single/double/triple press settings, but I thi
  15. I have seen some other issues with Mazda Bluetooth integration, but none describe this exact issue. I'm not even positive it is a Poweramp bug, but it might be or there might be a way to workaround in the settings. Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 Android Version 4.1.1Stock ROM from AT&TPoweramp: v2.0.9, build 525 Mazda CX-9 - 2013 The issue is this: When I change tabs on my Mazda screen, it is supposed to pause playback by sending a pause to the player. What happens is different if Poweramp is in the foreground or running in the background: If running in the foreground, it pauses for a se
  16. App works great with my brand new Pioneer receiver (car) and Galaxy S III running stock Android 4.2.1. Just wish the Album Art would be coming over to appear on my receiver. Please add this to a future build - I'd be grateful! I happily pay for this great app.
  17. Hi! First of all I'd like to say Poweramp is the best android music player for me, thank you guys for this great app. I almost exclusively use it to play over bluetooth A2DP, and I have two small features to request which would make this app perfect. 1. Option to send the filename over AVRCP if the metadata is not available in mp3 tags. On my car audio display most of the time I see "Unknown Artist" which is because my files aren't tagged correctly. I spent hours tagging them with different tools, but I can't keep up with the pace I'm downloading music. It would be really nice to show th
  18. Hello, Well done to you for creating this already excellent player Here is a suggestion to overcome a small issue, that I'm sure others may have experienced: Would it be possible to incorporate a master pause button in Poweramp and it's lock screen, that overrides bluetooth AD2P control commands "Play " without interfering with the phone function? Normally when driving with bluetooth selected on the car stereo, Poweramp will start playing. I am able to view the artist info and use steering wheel controls to select next track. If a phone call comes through (car has hands free kit built in the
  19. Hi, I like the resume playback on bluetooth connect function very much. But it would be nice if one can configure, that playback resumes only on connect of a specific device. for example: I use a bluetooth A2DP Receiver for in car audio and a bluetooth headset for phone calls. If I connect only the headset the player resumes because the headset also provides A2DP. But in this case I don't want to resume playback. Plaback should only resume if the A2DP Receiver is connected. Thanks in advance Ello
  20. Hi Guys: I hope you can help me with this absolutely infuriating problem. My Mazda 3 music via Bluetooth is paired with my S3 and I am using Poweramp. I have all the headset settings enabled and audio settings. However, when I hit the "Next track" control on my car steering wheel, power amp switches to the next track correctly, but immediately pauses playback on the next track! Why does it do that? (I have the pause setting set only for soft pause for navigation etc..) There is no issue with the iphone or when using Winamp. This is a phenomenal product...but it's really killing me with t
  21. Hi world, I'm curently testing Poweramp, it's really great, I was about to buy the unlocker but ... I have troubles with bluetooth streaming in my car ... here is the full story : << Sometimes, I only want to have GPS (google navigation) instructions and no music, so I put Poweramp in "pause" and navigation is running ... but each time navigation "talks", the music start/pause/stop ?!! ... very strange. >> Looks like notifications always start/stop music. Isn't it possible to pause/re-start music during notifications if ( and only if ) the muscic playback was enable before notifica
  22. I would like to have a feature where in when performing next/previous function using a Bluetooth Headset like Sony Ericsson MW600 or similar the screen should scroll to bring the current song into view in the Playlist/Folder as the case may be. This can also be extended to say that whenever the current playlist/folder from which music is being played is visited the current song that is either playing or paused should come into view on the screen. The current cusor focus should be on this song. Thank you. Linus Rain
  23. Currently there is an option to start music (if the player is already started) upon Bluetooth connection. This option should be extended to include 'Start Music and/or Open player on Bluetooth Connect' and also 'Stop Music and/or Close player on Bluetooth Disconnect'. I use the player 99% of the time while driving so as soon as I get into my vehicle the vehicle Bluetooth connects and it would be nice to have the player open by the time I am actually ready to hit the road and also when I shut off my car and the Bluetooth disconnects the player closes. That would create a few less task for me an
  24. I just would like to share my happiness and confirm that, after a long wait, my Sony Ericsson MW-600 now displays song track info (title only) with the latest release of Poweramp using it with Smasung Galaxy S III. Is there a possible to implement ifo customisation, such as Artist and Track, if desired? Thank you very much and well done! PD: I had lost all hopes...
  25. Hey there, I've been running into a major annoyance with Poweramp Pro lately. I mostly use Poweramp to listen to audio books, and using XiiaLive for listening to web radios. Problem is, Poweramp is way too aggressive with picking up commands from my bluetooth headset. As soon as I press play, regardless of whether I've used Poweramp since turning on my phone or not, Poweramp starts playing. It even does this is XiiaLive (or Audio book player, or any other app) is currently in focus. This is quite annoying, and looking at the options menu the only two options are to disable bluetooth altogether
