  1. hello, i have a request. please implement the Audiofocus Option for lowering the Volume(like a Volume bar whrer the user can set how much the volume should be lowered) during a notifivation or even more important navigation. the interrupt during navigation annoys me please do that. big thanks in forward.
  2. I don't know if Poweramp has the permissions to do this, but is it possible to have it disconnect a bluetooth device? Specifically I'd like the sleep timer to also have an option somewhere to turn off or disconnect the BT device when going to sleep... without any connection my BT speaker will shut itself down after a few minutes, which is why this'd be rather useful! Thanks in advance, using Poweramp has been a pleasure so far. ~RedFlames Edit: Update, went and checked the manual/FAQ page for the SRS-X11 (the BT speaker I bought) and it says it'll turn off after a while - doesn't specify the
  3. Using a Garmin Vivoactive to control playback on Poweramp over bluetooth works except for Next and Previous track selection. Pause, resume and volume control work as expected. Pressing either next or previous pauses/resumes the play back. I can confirm the next and previous work correctly with other music apps including Amazon Music and Spotify. Poweramp version: 2.0.10-build-581-play (Full Version) Device: Samsung S5 Android version: 5.0 ROM Version: LRX21T.G900FXXU1BOE2 Hope we can fix this one! Jeremy
  5. My apologies if this has been covered. To stop the stuttering issue via Bluetooth with Kit Kat, go to settings-misc-tweaks-and check keep service. The two tweeks in the faq did not work for me but this did. You should be able to play over Bluetooth stutter free with the screen either on or off after this adjustment.
  6. So I have had this issue with Poweramp since I got it. Whenever I use the next or back track button theirs a chance that Poweramp will decrease the volume by 60%. If I let the Poweramp lockscreen fade away when my music is paused then the volume returns to normal. If I unchecked "direct volume control" in options then my music distorts at high volumes. It's a lose lose situation. Any way for a fix?
  7. A key feature of bluetooth audio is the ability for multiple apps to be able to output audio. Such as when you have your music player stream via bluetooth, and a navigation app (like Google Maps) speaking turn by turn directions. As some folks have laws requiring hands free usage in cars, this is a significant Bluetooth bug. In the recent past, about 2 months ago, this feature was broken by an upgrade to Poweramp I believe. The issue started when I had Android 4.4.4. I now have Android 5.1.1 and it persists. Now when I use both Poweramp and Google Maps Navigation, The music will go si
  8. Hi all. I have the paid version of Poweramp and a Samsung Note 3 running Lollipop. I blue tooth my music from my phone to my car radio which is an Alpine CDE-HD137BT. The radio displays the names of the artist, song or album playing. Ever since my phone was updated to Lollipop, the artist, song and album no longer display when I use Poweramp and the Alpine radio. The radio still plays my playlists and I can pause and do everything else...I just can not get any info on the radio about the song being played. Artists, etc. do display when I am playing radio stations, so I don't think the prob
  9. I have emailed the developer about this, but I think they got the wrong idea. I have several bluetooth devices, but there is only one bluetooth profile in Poweramp! It would be nice to be able to set an equaliser setting for more than one bluetooth device, because at present any bluetooth device you connect uses the same profile/preset. What is good for a small pair of headphones sounds terrible on a bluetooth external speaker set up, just a thought......
  11. Couldnt find anything via Google, xda or the search in this forum, so I had to post this... I have recently bought an Uwatch 8 Pro from China, for the only purpose to control PA while riding bike without taking the smartphone out of my pocket. Unfortunately, this wouldnt work since the watch is always playing music via its own speaker instead of my headphones, which are connected to the smartphone. I have asked in the uwatch section of xda and got the answer to set it up in the output-settings of PA, which I couldnt find... Can anyone please help?
  12. Hello, I've been using this app since I bought it about 3 years ago. It's perfect in almost every aspect except one, which I discovered during the last year when I bought a car. I use the app to stream music via bluetooth. But many times I only have the phone connected via BT in case someone calls me, not to play music. Now I'll try to explain the sequence in detail: 1. (The "Resume on Bluetooth" option is always disabled). 2. The phone connects to the car stereo via bluetooth. 3. I start playing FM radio on my car stereo. 4. At some moment I receive a notification on my phone (an SMS, a Wha
  13. Hi, as I am reviewing a lot of bluetooth speaker and headphones I am missing a loudness feature in Poweramp. Most speaker or headphones need to get heavy increased bass and treble to sound good if playing on a low volume level. With increasing volume the EQ setting should be lowered till linear setting or a defined minimum EQ setting. Some more expensive speaker already have such a feature like the Denon Envaya Mini, but most cheaper model do not have any optimization settings for theier sound. It would be great implementing a loudness feature especially for speakers like the MEK Musicbox
  14. Like the dozens of enthusiastic people asking for DLNA support, I want to stream from a portable device (a tablet I purchased solely to be a Poweramp dedicated mp3 player) to my stereo. It is possible that Bluetooth, not DLNA, is the answer. As interested readers know, DLNA is a wireless standard capable of the transmission of audio from portable devices to WiFi receivers at CD levels of fidelity. Poweramp does not support DLNA, but some people have succeeded in connecting it to Audio Cast via BubbleUPnP in a rooted phone. (I have succeeded in doing that with an HP Touchpad running Cyanogenm
  15. Hello there, it's been ages since i wrote on this forum, but i'm experiencing a few things over bluetooth that are driving me nuts. In this post i'll describe 3 problems i have over bluetooth with Poweramp. When i say bluetooth i'm reffering to my car stereo, i do not use bluetooth headphones or any other devices. If it helps, my current stereo is the build in headunit of the Mazda 3. but i can confirm the problems on Alpine units, as well as Audi A3 stock. So, here goes: 1. To make it short, i get these skips, like very short pauses when i playback with screen off. I did test my car, an
  16. for users to assign different EQ presets to different bluetooth headset. Poweramp to recognize the bluetooth device connected by its ID and to automatically activate the corresponding EQ preset. I use a bluetooth headset and a bluetooth car audio system, both requiring different EQ settings. The current Poweramp version differentiates between cable headsets and bluetooth devices but not among different bluetooth devices Alternatively, add an item for Tasker to select a specific Poweramp EQ profile. The current version gives Tasker the option to open the EQ selection dialogue, which is my c
  17. I've been using Poweramp to playback music in my car via bluetooth, it was working just perfectly until the latest update (both app and android has been updated, so I'm not sure which one causing it). Now sometimes after connection the playback is started on the phone's speaker instead of the car audio. In these cases both the telephone and the car shows that the bluetooth connection is ok, I can make calls using the car's controls, audio controls also working. Bluetooth reconnect does not help. After restarting the phone it works fine, playback is using car audio again. Any ideas how to fix
  18. I bought a Garmin vivosmart activity tracker, and it includes bluetooth media controls: a play/pause, next track, previous track. All three buttons just play/pause. Being able to skip tracks without taking the phone out of my pocket would be very nice. I realize there are Bluetooth control options in the settings menu, but none of them seem to have any effect. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Thanks, love the app; I recommend it to everyone whenever I can!
  19. Hello everybody, I love Poweramp and I am using it for years on different phones. Currently I am using an LG Nexus 4 with Android Lollipop 5.0.1. My newest toy is a Garmin Vivosmart, which hopefully will be fully functionable in one of the next versions . So...what is not working: The Music Control using the Vivosmart Band, which allows me, to Play/Pause, change volume, but also to change to previous and next title is not working correctly. Unfortunately until now it is not possible to change titles, because of a misinterpreting of the corresponding controls. Using "previous/next title" always
  20. At last I found a music player which have the FastForward/Rewind feature but I am very sorry to learn that the app totaly ignore when I am using my FastForward/Rewind buttons on my bluetooth Logitech H800 headset (everything else is working like volume up and down, next track and so on)
  21. Since I updated to the latest version of Poweramp, I have been having connectivity issues when listening to music on my galaxy s4 and Bluetooth headphones sennheiser mm11. When I unlock the phone while listening to music, the music stops playing in the headphones, and playes out loud from the phone speakers. The Bluetooth conenction is still active, as I can play/pause the music with the headset buttons. To fix the issue I have to restart the Bluetooth connection. I think this is a bug with the Poweramp app, as I only encountered the problem after the latest update through the play store. An
  22. Poweramp 2.0.10 Build 570 HTC One M7 GPE Lollipop 5.01 Stock Rom I recently updated to Lollipop 5.01 and I am having many issues with Poweramp. Resume on Bluetooth only works after fresh boot, after pause or disconnect, does not resume automatically and doesn't respond to any bluetooth buttons (play, ffwd, rewind). Widget also doesn't respond to button press, have to open app to have buttons respond. Widget seems to "lock up" all homescreen button presses. Play notification remains persistent even after opening app and pressing pause. Reboot required to remove notification. Tried uninstallin
  23. The reason why I LOVE Spotify is because I can have all of my music integrated in all of my devices with just few drag and drops. And all my music gets synced in high quality. The problem? Playback is not as good. And the lack of an equalizer makes it all worse. It doesn't help that I use a Bluetooth headset. (Motorola S11-HD Flex and Jaybird's Bluebuds X). I love Poweramp's equalizer, however. It's so powerful that it lets you tweak every bit of the audio output to boost the audio quality. Being a Bluetooth headset user, this is a gift from the heavens. There was some talk back in 2
  24. "Ok Google" breaks Bluetooth audio during playback. Switches to phone speakers and is all choppy. Does not resume after the command is done. Have to turn Bluetooth on and off again to resume playback with Bluetooth. I have tried the different audio focus settings and none of them solves the issue. Catlog has been sent to the dev team. build.board: hammerheadbuild.bootloader: HHZ11kbuild.brand: googlebuild.cpu_abi: armeabi-v7abuild.cpu_abi2: armeabibuild.device: hammerheadbuild.display: KTU84Pbuild.fingerprint: google/hammerhead/hammerhead:4.4.4/KTU84P/1227136:user/release-keysbuild.hardwa
  25. My phone recently updated from Android 4.2.2 to 4.4.2. Since the update, the track numbers have not properly displayed via Bluetooth. Previously, the track number would display as "1", "2", "3", etc. Now they display as "1001", "1002", "1003", etc. If the song is from Disc 2 of a 2-disc set, they display as "2001", "2002", etc. It appears as if the track number is now being displayed as [Disc][Track-zero-padded-to-three]. I only have one Bluetooth device that shows track numbers to test this on: my 2014 Honda Accord. I've tried toggling "Metachanged Intent" setting and the setting to i
