  1. Moto G6 Play [jeter/aljeter] Android Pie 9.0 Official PPP29.55-35-12 Poweramp v3-build-853-arm32-play Error when playing music through A2DP / AVRCP bluetooth audio on several devices. Forced closing of the bluetooth app of the cell phone and constant reconnections failed. This problem is only presented by the Poweramp app, I have tried other players and the bluetooth audio works correctly. In android 8 in the same way everything worked correctly, this bug was presented through an update to android 9. I have done a hard reset and clean installation to my cell phone and the app still doesn't work properly
  2. Hello, i recently downloaded and bought the application. Coming from other audio players, i was wondering if you could please add the following features: - DSD - 2 Passes (as in VLC) - 32 bits support for Hi-Res audio - pitch control - current playlist, playback stop and A-B repetition (as in jetAudio) - playlist import - lyrics editing and writing. Sincerely yours
  3. hi. i have a galaxy s5 kernel 3.4.0-14131106. i find i cannot play anything without distortion unless i use eq with all settings on minimum. adjusted everything including number of volume levels and dvc but nothing really helps. the new app awesome and nice and loud and playlists working great. thank you. only issue is eq. if the minimum setting was actually 50 % or even 75 % meaning one could adjust all sliders to well below the current minimum it would be perfect. thanks v much. Gerald.
  4. Developer.Excuse me.Could you let app add the functionality of Exclusive HQ USB audio access?Block audio resampling on Android
  5. Kindly add MKV video to audio stream like other video formats like MP4😊
  6. When I get system notifications while using Poweramp, the audio stutters and stops playing over the Bluetooth earphones for some time. Also when I play a media from Instagram/Youtube or any other app while Poweramp is playing, the audio stops and I hear a strange sound from my bt earphones.Sometimes I have to reboot the phone to fix the audio output. I have a OnePlus 6 running Android 9.0 Open Beta 3. OnePlus Wireless Bullets. Poweramp version: rc-797-play I'm attaching a logcat :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_Zu9WLtX4JArNRlwgP__lraLp7nIoThH/view?usp=drivesdk Thanks in advance!
  7. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PER SONG EQ PRESET ASSIGNMENTS. I don't understand for the life of me, why this feature was removed from the latest beta build 792 (793 on Playstore). This is a deal breaker for me, as I have many EQ presets custom tailored to different songs to which they (and some similar songs) are assigned to. I can imagine for somebody that has many different genres in their library, this could be very frustrating. I don't want to have to take my phone out, unlock it and scroll through EQ presets every 3 - 5min. Currently I'm using alpha version 709 and was excited to see an update avaliable for beta, given the reduced functionality of the previous beta version. Only to be disappointed a vital fuction was removed. I don't understand its removal, I never found it to be in the way or clutter up the app in any way. It greatly improves the way I experience my music, and is one of the things I used to mention when suggesting the app to friends. So, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
  8. Hello there, I was became very excited to see the new release of Poweramp on Google Play Store, which is the build 792 (although the app itself shows 793). I instantly installed it and was blown away by the UI (with a few crashes, of course). I quickly noticed that the audio would not play at all when the output was via speaker, albeit the UI showing it's playing. I remember in the alpha releases of 702-709 that the resampler was the cause of this. Back then clearing data and leaving the resampler settings untouched did the job, but this time it has not. I have tried reinstalling (without transferring the settings over) and clearing data, but the problem persists. Xiami Redmi Note 4 Android version 8.1.0 Lineage OS version 15.1 Does anyone have any input on this? P.S. Thanks to the developer for keeping this project on its feet, I'm astounded. Matthias EDIT It seems it's not a Poweramp issue, as other media sources do not produce sound either. Weird that it spawned after I installed the version, though.
  9. Bought the license as I found it amazing!! It would be awesome if it starts playing the audio of HD videos (with .mkv , .wmv extensions) present in my library just as it does for mp4 videos. Any chance ? Thanks.
  10. Hi, I have had this issue about games installing audio bites to the player. I went to Settings and clicked ignore audio shorter then 30 second's but they still find their way to my play list. It's very annoying and how do you stop it from doing that?
  11. My phone is16bit with a 96khz output but when I hook up the aux it changes to 48khz and when I change to Bluetooth it lowers even more to 44.1khz. I notice when I goto hi res output that 24bit users can change the khz to their liking but not us 16bit users and if you can I can't find it. I don't know much about audio related stuff but why can't I do this? It would be great if there was a option where I can use 16 bit and change the khz to my liking o.O I've been using this for atleast 3 years now can I get some help?
  12. Hi. My phone is a Lenovo Moto G 4º generation, I'm running stock Android 6.0.1 and I'm using build 588 of Poweramp. I'm having some issues while playing music through my Pioneer DEH-4600BT and the problem is that, after 15 minutes or so of playback, there's always a small pause. This pause usually lasts for about a half to almost a second and doesn't happen when using non-Bluetooth headphones. Music is stored on the real (external) SD card. These are the settings I tried changing and did nothing to solve or mitigate the issue: Short Audio Focus Change BT Direct Volume Control Audio Buffer Size Audio Thread Priority Use Wakelock I've also tried leaving Poweramp in the foreground before turning off the screen and didn't help either. Finally, I have another small issue also Bluetooth related: no matter what settings I choose related to Bluetooth metadata, my head unit displays the phone Bluetooth name ("Moto G (4)" in my case) in the place where it should display playtime. This never happened to me with this player on Android 2 or 4 on the same unit and works as intended (displaying playtime) on other car audio systems. Thank you for your responses and for making this great player! EDIT: Managed to get some logs, pause happens at around 11:16:04:
  13. Hello a few days ago i bought the unloker, and I have to say that I love it, but I have a little problem, when I turn up or turn down the volume of the player there is a kind of cut or jump in the audio , this happens even with the controls of the Player, by the way i have I other players and this only happens in Poweramp, i got a sony xperia c4, thanks for any help that you can give me to solve this
  14. Hi, nice to see you guys here. I would like to request something about audio output. So, I am running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Stock Android, Flash Plus 2 device, MTK Helio P10 based phone. Here is the details http://www.flash3c.com/flash-plus-2/hi-fi/ It seems that my phone can not maximize the output on Hi-Res. Even it can not detect wired headset in Hi-Res output menu (showing only USB DAC). I knew that it still experimental but some MTK phone like redmi note 4 (if I am not mistaken) can do that. So, ya it support AudioTrack / OpenSL ES output that can only provides audio 16bit 44khz max although I have 24bit 192khz music. I want to get 24bit 192khz output with experimental Hi-Res like on redmi note 4. Could you make my device compatible with Hi-Res feature on Poweramp? That should be amazing. Thank you!
  15. Good Morning Poweramp users, Today I have a quick quality test review for you. The kind folks at Underwater Audio sent us a copy of their many waterproof headphones for us to experience and give you guys an honest review. I used these headphones for over two weeks while traveling, swimming, and jumping into waterfalls and I must tell you, they truly are waterproof. When it came to experiencing the real Poweramp quality, these headphones were able to reproduce the highs and lows accurately. They sounded fantastic underwater, and while it does not have overly strong bass as I am used to, I would very much recommend these for active people. If there is a device you would like for us to test and give you an honest review about, reply below.
  16. Poweramp versión 2.0.10 build 588-play HTC Desire 626S Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Bug: Audio cuts constantly when I select this option
  17. hello, i have a request. please implement the Audiofocus Option for lowering the Volume(like a Volume bar whrer the user can set how much the volume should be lowered) during a notifivation or even more important navigation. the interrupt during navigation annoys me please do that. big thanks in forward.
  18. Firstly, I'm using the Sony Xperia Z. Running Kitkat 4.4.4 I experience a lag in track switching whenever I want to go next or previous. Every 3-5 track switches, the player continues playing the previous song for about 5 seconds even though the album artwork has changed the next song. It's so irritating, especially when you come across a song which you don't want t listen to and you have no choice but to listen to it, because Poweramp decides to play it for extra long. I expect more from a paid app. Very disappointing.
  19. Sometimes when playing music, I get these weird audio glitches. Their though to describe, and I've only been able to just bearably record the very mild versions of them. I've got two recordings here (sorry for the potato quality), happens roughly 2 seconds in on both: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8MrGIr89YLoT3lobXEzdm1JN2c/edit?usp=sharing, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8MrGIr89YLoUnZSQlI1Nzd1TEE/edit?usp=sharing I don't know if these links work, but let me know if they don't. Both original music files are 192kpbs mp3's, ripped using WMP from the real CD's and transferred using WinAmp to my phone. What you might be able to hear is as I've said the VERY mild version of the glitch, sometimes it can last for almost a full second. It also happens randomly. Sometimes I get them often, sometimes I can play music for almost a 40mins with no glitches at all. Here's some extra info: Phone is Nexus 5 running latest 8.0 SlimKat (also Slim kernel) It's not the files. I can have the glitch, rewind 2 seconds, and the glitch is not there. Even songs that have had tons of glitches in the past, now have none, and suddenly they return. Likewise no errors are experienced playing them on my PC with WinAmp or when using Google Play Music. It's been annoying me for the better part of a month now, and I'd really want it to go away.
  20. While playing local media (mp3), every 10-15 seconds, there's a break in the audio. All mp3 audio files in the library exhibit same behavior. This problem started when I upgraded Android from 4.2 to 4.4.2. Before the upgrade, there were no issues with audio playback. Tried troubleshooting the problem by 1) raising the thread priority 2) Increasing buffer size The above attempt did not fix the issue.
  21. I've been using Poweramp for a while now. Previously I used it with my Galaxy S i9000, where everything worked fine. Recently I upgraded to a Nexus 5, and I'm experiencing audio glitches during playback. It happens randomly every 4 or so songs, it's difficult to describe the sound but something weird defiantly happens. It doesn't matter which song I play, and sometimes it can be 5-6 songs with no glitches at all. They aren't longer then half a second, but still ruining the listening experience. As far as I can tell it only happens with Poweramp. I've just tried listening to roughly 2 hours with Google Play Music, and no glitches so far. As I said, I'm using a Nexus 5, currently running newest version of SlimKat (weekly) with ElementalX Kernel. I've also tried it with Linaro and Code Blue kernel on SlimKat. Likewise with ParanoidAndroid and Linaro/ElementalX kernel. Can't remember anything about stock Android, since I rooted pretty quickly.
  22. Hi folks, anyone know if there is a plug in or module to Poweramp to play lossless audio files *.brstm? Thanks.
  23. just got the 4.4.2 update for my galaxy s3 today and now there is an audio bug. For whatever reason during the start of a new song, the volume will go waaay down. So low that it sounds like All the equalizer bars are at their lowest setting(but of course, they're not). Ive messed with all audio priority settings and tried to figure out if another app might be the cause or maybe a new setting is to blame. But nothing works and i cant make the problem happen on demand. It just randomly happens. The bugged audio will persist untill i stop the music for a while and play a different audio (usually a YouTube vid) and come back to Poweramp and hit play and audio is back to normal This has been a frustrating experience. Does anyone have a solution?
  24. I'm using an HTC One running Android 4.2.2 stock ROM with Poweramp 2.0.9 Build 550 play (Full Version) With my HTC One I have noticed that once I unplug any wired headset (included black/red stock buds, stock Samsung buds, and Sony buds made for android) the boomsound speakers no longer work correctly. They will play correctly for about 0.5 seconds, then go quiet. The bottom speaker doesn't work at all and the music plays very faintly from the ear speaker. All ringtones and audio notifications (including alarms!) also become silenced, no matter how high I reset the volume. The speaker functionality is restored upon restart. I have reformatted the phone and tested with the stock Music Player without PA installed and the issue does not duplicate. A second issue is that PA isn't responding to any clicks on single or 3 button wired headsets. Double clicking always launches Redial (and sometimes advances the song upon hanging up the call) and long press will launch Google Now. A third issue is that I notice a lot of audio dropouts. I keep the Beats technology, DVC, Crossfade, et al. all disabled. I only keep the equalizer enabled and strongly prefer it to the Beats technology. However, I will have to continue using the stock app until this is looked at per I refuse to restart my phone every time I plug in/unplug a wired headset (10 or more times a day).
