  1. just got the 4.4.2 update for my galaxy s3 today and now there is an audio bug. For whatever reason during the start of a new song, the volume will go waaay down. So low that it sounds like All the equalizer bars are at their lowest setting(but of course, they're not). Ive messed with all audio priority settings and tried to figure out if another app might be the cause or maybe a new setting is to blame. But nothing works and i cant make the problem happen on demand. It just randomly happens. The bugged audio will persist untill i stop the music for a while and play a different audio (usually a YouTube vid) and come back to Poweramp and hit play and audio is back to normal This has been a frustrating experience. Does anyone have a solution?
  2. Hi folks, anyone know if there is a plug in or module to Poweramp to play lossless audio files *.brstm? Thanks.
  3. I'm using an HTC One running Android 4.2.2 stock ROM with Poweramp 2.0.9 Build 550 play (Full Version) With my HTC One I have noticed that once I unplug any wired headset (included black/red stock buds, stock Samsung buds, and Sony buds made for android) the boomsound speakers no longer work correctly. They will play correctly for about 0.5 seconds, then go quiet. The bottom speaker doesn't work at all and the music plays very faintly from the ear speaker. All ringtones and audio notifications (including alarms!) also become silenced, no matter how high I reset the volume. The speaker functionality is restored upon restart. I have reformatted the phone and tested with the stock Music Player without PA installed and the issue does not duplicate. A second issue is that PA isn't responding to any clicks on single or 3 button wired headsets. Double clicking always launches Redial (and sometimes advances the song upon hanging up the call) and long press will launch Google Now. A third issue is that I notice a lot of audio dropouts. I keep the Beats technology, DVC, Crossfade, et al. all disabled. I only keep the equalizer enabled and strongly prefer it to the Beats technology. However, I will have to continue using the stock app until this is looked at per I refuse to restart my phone every time I plug in/unplug a wired headset (10 or more times a day).

  5. The skipping when playing audio tracks and the distortion (a "screeching" sound remotely similar to what happens to speaker phones when a mobile phone is placed next to them) that others have reported in other threads was getting too bad for me so this is a sad day - I decided to de-install Poweramp. This problem was spoiling all the fun because at some point, you start to wait (and dread) the next audio problem instead of listening to what is going on in the music. So for the time being, no more Poweramp for me. This is a real pity because: - The sound quality itself (minus the skipping and distortion) was excellent - I am going to miss it. - I am not sure there is another player out there with replaygain support. This was the main reason for me to choose Poweramp. I love listening to music in shuffle mode, but I cannot stand the constant changes in volume. I am now back to using the stock player in ICS, listening to albums instead of all tracks in shuffle mode (so I don't have to adjust the volume with every song). I may choose another player with a bit more eye candy and better lockscreen support, but there is no real point in doing that without replaygain support. I am hoping this bug - which seems to affect some devices running ICS or higher, according to other threads - can be solved soon so I can go back to using Poweramp. My phone is an LG L7, running ICS with all updates provided by LG.
  6. Hi, I use audible.com to listen to books in the car, and one thing I really enjoy about that app being used in the car is that when I turn off my car, the app automatically pauses the book. I learned that it did this not by sensing when power was removed which I thought at first was how it was doing it, but instead that it did it based on my car kit's audio headset disconnection. Note that my car does NOT support A2DP which Poweramp does support pausing on disconnection of, but my car DOES support regular bluetooth headset. So can you please add an option to pause on bluetooth headset disconnect? Thanks! Justin
  7. Hi Max. Another quick request: Can you make a button under either the context menu or the Player Overlay UI (where the shuffle/repeat options are) that would allow toggling between different audio sources? I alternate between listening on my BT headphones and the phone's speaker, and it's frustrating that I either need to disconnect the BT or go deep into the menu options if I want to switch source quickly. Thanks, -zeff
