Hi, I cannot diagnose why Poweramp is skipping/hiccuping/stuttering. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have tried it on stock Touchwiz 5.0.1 and 4.4.2, Poweramp 2.0.10 build 588 I am aware of the article http://support.powerampapp.com/knowledgebase/articles/323527-skips-hiccups-stutters And the results from trying to use this have are: Not an SD card issue (music plays perfectly in stock player) Not Bluetooth issues (using regular wired headphones) Not tweaked ROM (I use stock Touchwiz 4.4.2 and 5.0.1, unless Touchwiz is considered tweaked?)

I have tried the below settings and continue to have constant issues. I have tried all the suggested fixes in the Q&A and cannot remember the last time this APP received an update on this device. I have tested at least 10 other top media/audio player apps and experience no problems whatsoever. However, Poweramp, has features that are not comparible. Here are my following issues. Constant stuttering and player command delays. Almost every other audio track, at random points. Occurs on both Bluetooth and headphones (1/8 jack)Have tweaked every combination of priority and buffer settings.Occ

My apologies if this has been covered. To stop the stuttering issue via Bluetooth with Kit Kat, go to settings-misc-tweaks-and check keep service. The two tweeks in the faq did not work for me but this did. You should be able to play over Bluetooth stutter free with the screen either on or off after this adjustment.

Poweramp: 2.0.9-build-561-play Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 Android Version: 4.4.4 Custom ROM: CyanogenMod 11 The well-known media stuttering, with a twist. Poweramp and other Music Players stutter while i'm browsing through Google Play Store or load newssites via Webbrowser (Naked Browser Pro), tried with in-built CM Kernel and 3 others (Googy, Alucard, KT), no changes. Audio Buffer @ +750ms, Audio-Thread Priority @ Highest, no changes. Still stutters like a lunatic. BUT, Google Music works flawlessly, no media stutters. So, what's the difference between Google Music and Poweramp? Th

Hello everyone: my question is, does anyone know how I can deal with stuttering/skipping when listening to music via a headphone amp (FiiO E17) connected to the micro USB port of a Moto G phone? I do realise this is a VERY specific question, and that it is pretty amazing I can get any audio playback at all via USB, but it would be a really pretty sweet setup - the audio only skips a little, but is otherwise superb quality. I have played with the buffering (and pretty much every other control), but nothing seems to shake the stutter/skipping. Any suggestions very welcome!
