  1. I have a playlist of 39 songs. I gave them track numbers on my computer, then transferred the songs to my phone. They are all in the same directory. But for 2 of the songs, something weird happens with the track order/number. Instead of being a whole number (like 1, 2, 3 or 69), they have track numbers like (0/2, 4/2 and 55/2). But when I attempt to change the track number on the Poweramp app, it only allows me to change it to a whole number. But when I save it, it goes to a fraction instead of a whole number. The rest of the songs in the playlist has a whole number. For example, on one song, when I change the track number value to '0', it changes to '0/2', but when I change it to '4', it changes to '4/2'. At both values, they are at the bottom of the playlist. The songs before the song is valued up to 36. And yes, the track order is ordered by track number. I'm using the paid version of Poweramp on version 2.0.10-build-588-play. How do I solve this problem? Should I try the v3.0 Test Build?
  2. For years Poweramp users have been requesting certain features but there seemed to be little or no movement in the development of them. So when Maxmp suddenly announced the release of a new version, my expectations rose. However, it soon became clear that most of the work would be dedicated to the new music engine. I was initially disappointed that lots of requested features would not be included and sceptical that we would only get a marginal improvement in sound quality. However, the improvement in sound quality is so amazing that I feel compelled to write this post. My music has taken on a new lease of life. !!!
  3. Hello there! I`ve made review (or manual) - how to tune Poweramp v.3 for better sound quality. I explain the output, resampler, sample rate and dither options. Read review - How to tune Poweramp v3 for better sound Hope it will help you.
  4. Hello I want to stream music from my phone to my car's android 4.1.1 head unit that runs Poweramp, is it possible that Poweramp will play from bluetooth stream? if it's possible, will it also display song info? thanks
  5. Poweramp version and build number: 2.0.10-build-585-play Your device model: Oneplus One Your Android version: 5.1.1 Your Custom ROM name/version: Cyanogen OS 12.1.1-YOG7DAS2K1 i'm using a jack connector button(Keycut device). and recently Poweramp has started to not respond to the button, unless i go under settings, and un-tick "respond to buttons" and re-tick it. then it works for as long as Poweramp is running, and for about 15 minutes after i stop playing music. i dont have a log file to give you, as it happens after i'm done using Poweramp, and i keep forgetting to use logcat to see if i can find out why it happens. i'm currently trying to have the service running at all times, to see if that fixes the issue. i will post the results here.
  6. Hey guys. I'm currently using the trial version of Poweramp, and am heavily considering buying it. However the one thing that's preventing me from doing so is this annoying pop that I occasionally hear in my music. This pop happens consistently at the exact same points in these same specific songs. One of the songs is Never Surrender by Combichrist. These pops don't happen in any other player I play them in. I can't find a pattern between the songs neither. Never Surrender is a song with a lot of heavy synths, so I thought that might have done something, but I remember (though no specifics) songs that had nothing like that but still had it. These songs are in the minority, but they basically get ruined from this since it always happens. I'm running Android Marshmallow 6.01 on a Samsung Galaxy S6. I'm listening through a pair of wired earphones. There's not issues with background processes, there's plenty of system resources to use this player. Nothing in the song gets skipped, the stream is uninterrupted, but this audible pop is laid over it and it's quite annoying.
  7. Hello! First off, thank you for a great app! Been using it since version 1! I have a question for you about a feature to add. I can delete my music files directly off the sdcard from the folder mode and the album mode. However, in playlist mode, I can only remove the song from the playlist. Is it possible to be able to delete files from the sdcard, directly selected from the playlist? Thanks!
  8. I use Poweramp on my original type HTC Desire and enjoy it. Is there any further benefit to running other DSP products alongside Poweramp, such as DSP Manager or PlayerPro DSP? Regards, J
  9. I heard that most phones have volume limiter on their speakers. I wonder if Poweramp could blow your phone speakers out at max volume or does it also have permission to modify the volume limit?
