  1. In youtube, if a video is too long, you can add chapters to the video. Likewise, is it possible to add timelines to a long track??
  2. build-905-arm64-play Samsung Galaxy A50 Android Version 11 No custom ROM Steps: I often enjoy casting it through chromecast to my tv and for months it has worked flawlessly, not losing sync, and showing the same album art in both phone app and tv screen, no complaints. Recently however, there has been a strange glitch, in when I click the cast icon and select my tv, it will show all the corresponding info in the proper places and everything seems fine except its missing the album art. Then when I click the play button on cell phone interface no audio output whatsoever, neither from the tv through chromecast nor through cell phone. On the cell phone the little progression visualizer on the bottom will advance for a small duration (like 3 sec) and then revert back to original position with no audio output whatsoever. There will be the indication that it is casting, and that it has an established connection to tv. I've tried turning the tv off, and restarting my cell phone, and I've assumed that maybe a prior casting connection (like from youtube or netflix) could have messed it up, although that's all speculative. However no combination of turning on/off tv or application or cell phone has worked out for me thus far. I'm really really upset about this since the only good speakers I have are the ones in my tv and the only reason I purchased Poweramp is for the chromecast functionality. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. thanx.
  3. Whenever i turn the volume down, it's not lowering "smoothly" but with steps and noticeable "stutter" (audio still there). I think I tweaked this before, but I forgot which setting is it after reinstall lol. It happens on all output devices (speaker, wired headphones, and bluetooth wireless headphone--mine is Redmi Airdots).
  4. Buying a new phone soon, i know that different phones have different capabilities especially when it comes to audio. One of my biggest concerns is if the new phone has the same or better capabilities as my current one. I want to be able to see the audio outputs (Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks > Audio Outputs detection log) that the phone is capable of, but i dont know how to check it other than to install Poweramp on the phone before purchase... I would be grateful for any advice you guys are willing to offer.
  5. Yeah, I've noticed that Poweramp's audio output actually doesn't fix the sample rate to match the file sample rate and evite unnecessary resampling. Now, if I use the Hi-res output (Realme RMX2020, MTK Hi-Fi) the resampler goes up to 192 kHz and then Android downsamples to 48 kHz, which is completely useless. For comparison, UAPP is actually capable of fix the sample rate to 44.1 kHz without more complications. If I'm wrong with what I'm saying or if I'm missing something, I'd appreciate your help and opinion.
  6. Hello everyone. I've purchased Poweramp awhile back and have used it with no issues on my Galaxy S9 along with my Tempotec Sonata HD Pro DAC capable of 384kHz/32bit output. On the S9 it would default to 192khz/24bit output with the Audiotrack output selected in the audio settings. I've purchased a new phone (Xiaomi Poco X3) running MIUI 12.0.2 Android Q. Upon installing Poweramp (v3, b884), the output of the USB DAC is limited to 48kHz/16bit on both OpenSL and Audiotrack. I could alter the sampling rate by enabling Hi-res output, but that introduces a lot of latency. On the S9 with Audiotrack output selected, the sampling rate was 192kHz with low latency of around 80ms compared to the Xiaomi hi-res output having 200ms with 96kHz selected. My questions are: 1) What could be causing this issue? My guess is the stock player interferes with Poweramp's direct access to USB audio. 2) Is there a difference in altering the sampling rate on Hi-res output vs allowing the native sampling rate of the device (192kHz/24bit) to be utilized when Audiotrack output is used? Thanks and hope you could help me out. Attached are screenshots of the issue in question. https://i.imgur.com/ctVfnEn.jpg
  7. I am the owner of a Chromecast Audio device and use it via its digital output to my DAC to play lossless via Poweramp Android. However, I would much prefer if the output from the Chromecast was of native bitrate and sample rate of the file playing - without resampling everything to one specific bitrate and sample rate defined by the user. Is it possible to include the option of 'sample rate is defined by the source file' to the Chromecast 'sample rate' and 'sample format' menus within Poweramp, so that the output adjusts according to each file being played? Due to the Chromecast's limitation of 24 bit/96kHz output; another option that may be necessary to accompany the above request is a setting to resample all 192kHz+ files down to 96kHz purely for Chromecast use. These additions would at least keep the output bit-perfect for everything 24/96 and below, other than 192kHz+ files that must be resampled to 96kHz due to limitation of the Chromecast. Bit-perfect playback is a much required necessity for those replacing traditional computer based systems for Hi-Res playback - allowing Poweramp to replace a computer for playback would be much appreciated.
  8. Poweramp(v3-883) on Galaxy A20 Android 10 having issue with audio when music is being cast to Vizio Soundbar Audio cast. No sound comes from the Soundbar. This is only happening with audio cast because it works fine with Bravia Chromecast. Also this issue doesn't persist if Samsung's SmartView is used.
  9. I have Realme x2 .there is no option of hi res output for earphones.plzz help.
  10. The phone detects that it is streaming audio only when Poweramp is playing on Hi-res. Hi-res sounds too low I'm using a Mi A2 Lite with Android 10 stock
  11. Hello, I have Poweramp installed to my android car stereo and the music downloaded directly to the device sounds great! My only issue is how to connect the Bluetooth audio from my phone to PoweAmp. My bluetooth audio does play on the stereo but it sounds meh. I want my bluetooth audio to play through Poweramp so i can get that same audio quality from my phones audio. Is there anyway to do this?
  12. Hello, when you play music while navigating and there is an announcement from Google Maps for example, the volume from the music (Poweramp) is turned down for the duration of the announcement and up again after it finishes. I like this behavior because I can then understand the announcement easier. This is however done through suddenly jumping the volume level up/down. It would be much more pleasing for the ears, if the volume would be slightly faded up and down like Spotify already does. Thanks!
  13. Moto G6 Play [jeter/aljeter] Android Pie 9.0 Official PPP29.55-35-12 Poweramp v3-build-853-arm32-play Error when playing music through A2DP / AVRCP bluetooth audio on several devices. Forced closing of the bluetooth app of the cell phone and constant reconnections failed. This problem is only presented by the Poweramp app, I have tried other players and the bluetooth audio works correctly. In android 8 in the same way everything worked correctly, this bug was presented through an update to android 9. I have done a hard reset and clean installation to my cell phone and the app still doesn't work properly
  14. Hello, i recently downloaded and bought the application. Coming from other audio players, i was wondering if you could please add the following features: - DSD - bit perfect output - 2 Passes (as in VLC) - 32 bits support for Hi-Res audio - pitch control - current playlist, playback stop and A-B repetition (as in jetAudio) - playlist import - lyrics editing and writing. Sincerely yours
  15. hi. i have a galaxy s5 kernel 3.4.0-14131106. i find i cannot play anything without distortion unless i use eq with all settings on minimum. adjusted everything including number of volume levels and dvc but nothing really helps. the new app awesome and nice and loud and playlists working great. thank you. only issue is eq. if the minimum setting was actually 50 % or even 75 % meaning one could adjust all sliders to well below the current minimum it would be perfect. thanks v much. Gerald.
