App will not stay in landscape mode Build 905-arm64

When I'm in my car I put my phone in landscape mode. Poweramp only appears in landscape mode correctly after I've removed any open Poweramp sessions and restarted the app. Even if I set the mode to landscape in Poweramp settings it will switch back to portrait after I turn the screen off and on again. I have a Samsung S8+ with the Dec 1 2020 security patch.
