And I presume this cannot be put behind an option. Quite a bummer. I hope some kind of fix is found. Thanks for the clarification.

Will Poweramp popping up for every file type be changed or is it to accomodate scanning for mkvs? It is quite annoying to see it pop up for totally unrelated files. I hope it is reverted.
