I assume that you have Auto-Scan enabled in Settings > Library > Scanner. Does the behaviour change if you disable this option?

I noticed the same behaviour like the OP with build 981 on two different devices: Lenovo Tab 8 (TB-8705F), Android 10 and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, Android 13, OneUI 5.1

I've tried the options custom URL, Google, Google (Web) with no luck.

On both devices a default browser app is set.

I don't want to fully reinstall PA.

If I remember correctly opening the preferred lyrics app worked with one of the last builds.

Sometimes the seekbar in the player UI and the navbar stops showing the correct position. At the same time the progress is shown correctly in the PA notification.

I'm experiencing this with build 976 on a Lenovo Tab TB-8705F (Android 10) while streaming via chromecast.

I already requested a few times an option to only fade out on manual track change, pause and stop.

In contrast to cross-fade this option could also be applied to Chromecast output.

[Chrome casting not working]

Maybe adjusting the settings of your WiFi network will help.

For me casting local music with PA via Chromecast was not possible for a long time. Then I connected my three streaming speakers and my mobil device exclusively to the 5 GHz band, which has a different SSID name compared to the 2.4 GHz band. For the 5 GHz WiFi a permanent channel is set, which isn't reserved for preferred user (e.g. radar). WiFi band-steering is deactivated. 

Now chromecasting is more or less stable.

Instead of cycle through the different shuffle modes one by one you can long-press the shuffle button and select shuffle all or shuffle off right away.

Nice Idea.

Actually this "return to top of list" button could totally replace all Bottom Buttons for me.

Maybe this button could also be offered as an exclusive option independent of the presence of the Bottom Buttons.

At least using the option List Item Click Action set to Enqueue and stay in the list prevents from interrupting playback while browsing the library, but I still miss an option to deactivate swipe gestures in the player screen and the mini player and an option to make the seekbars unresponsive to scrolling.

The crashes happen with MusicMatch, Genius and also Google on two different devices, Lenovo Tab TB-8705F (Android 10) and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (Android 13).
