Why not use the song title then for the album name in your tag? Effectively, an album comprising 1 track with the song title as the album name, along with all the other tags filed in accordingly; Artist, Album Artist, Year, etc.

@CarlFredricksen yes you can, from the 3 dots on the far right. If you press on that, it will bring up a menu of options of which 'List option' is what you need to choose. This will display another list of options, if you scroll it up you'll see several choices under the' View as' option that will enable you to have smaller covers or just the track/titles. Also there is an option under 'Layout' to compress the header art so as to display more of the list. Alternatively, you should also be able to use your two fingers to pinch in or out on the track list directly to obtain your desired view. I use the Luminous Dark skin, but I believe these options are part of the default skin too.

Personally, I very much like the new randomness bias as all of my library (3000+ songs) are my favourites!! So I'm now hearing songs/'categories' not heard for a while more often. Whatever comes to fruition in the beta/ release version, if this current bias remains or can be chosen, I'll be very happy. I suppose after time the biasness evens itself out when less played songs have been played more often??

Hadn't noticed that setting, but having now looked, mine is not switched on and the skin works. Seems like it hasn't helped @code either way.

Interesting, as I too am on v916 and use the Luminous Dark skin and have no such issue on my Samsung S5 Android 6.0.1.

2nd that. Would be very practical indeed.

Happens when playing from Queue (no shuffle) and not sorted by play count. I've also noticed this happens when the current song plays to completion and moves to the next song, if I start another song before the current song completion the increment then shows correctly.

Also have issue with Count As Played. In my case the count decreases by 1 each time a song is played. Only when set to 0% does the count correctly increase.
