5. What are the best 'rate' settings to resample a file and retain the highest quality?

Bandwidth setting: don't change from the default setting (95%).
why is Poweramps default setting 97% then? 🤔

Left ear bud much lower volume vs right. If I change audio players (on same phone), volume is normal and equal. If I switch to my Samsung S8 with Power Amp - again the buds work normally. I have read the FAQ's and google searched for resolution. I have changed settings - DVC, etc and nothng has made a difference.
a lil help?
Thanks
PA Build: 939 bundle play
Android 12
Samsung S22+
try to adjust the volume of the buds themselves through the Galaxy wearable app by setting touch actions to volume and set them both the highest setting. After that you can lower them as you like, should be both the same volume level.

@maxmpyes, I tried that but if I set it to 48khz bits get set automatically to 16bit and I can't change it. What do you recommend in this case? 48khz/16bit or 96khz/24bit?

@░▒▓█ クリス █▓▒░ in your case, SSC codec runs at 24 bit 48 khz, so setting hi-res to 96khz makes little sense (double resampling, double battery consumption). The best approach here is to match Hi-Res output bits and sample rate to the codec parameters.

@░▒▓█ クリス █▓▒░ DVC is unrelated, dolby atmos usually forces 48kHz/16bit.
@maxmpeven when it says 96khz/24bit in output when Dolby Atmos is on?
-
so there's a warning now that Dolby settings may force standard definition. Does this apply even when using DVC? Dolby Atmos is always on on my Galaxy Fold3...

You keep asking about what is the cleanest way to pass audio directly to your listening device, so I'd suggest turning any additional manufacturer-added processing (such as Dolby Atmos) off. Disabling MusicFX in the second EQ screen is a good idea.
Andre
it shouldn't matter when DVC is on, right? 🤔

and I would recommend using SoX resampler
