  1. This new version still has the bottom miniplayer bug. Here's some more information regarding said miniplayer bug that shows the wrong song (it displays a song with a title tag (not the filename) that begins with a special characters [", #, etc.] ) instead of what is actually being played. The gestures and buttons on the miniplayer work as they should. If I swipe right on the miniplayer, it does play the next appropriate song. However, the song displayed on the miniplayer changes to another song with a special character at the beginning of the song title tag instead of what is actually being played. I have attached three screenshots. Each screenshot was taken while playing a different song. Notice the miniplayer displays a different song in each screenshot, however they are not what's actually playing. They are all songs with special characters at the beginning of each song title tag. I believe this has been happening in every version of V3 so far. Others have experienced it too. I think there is a thread on the bug section. If this can't be fixed, can you just add a way to disable/hide the miniplayer? Thanks, @maxmp!
  2. I have attached the song, but it's not just that song. I have tried to remove several suspect songs. The problem still persists, this time with a different song. It's any song with a special character at the beginning of the song title tag. It's the not the filename. It's the song title tag. Here are some examples of songs that do this. Again, these are the song title tags (the filenames are without the special characters): "Heroes" (I have about 20 versions of this song.) #1 #2 Waltz $100 Tip 03 - Heroes.mp3
  3. I'm still getting the bug where the floating player at the bottom is showing tracks with special characters in front of the track title instead of what's actually playing. For me, it's Bowie's 'Heroes' because the song title includes the quotation marks. It takes a while to get that player to stop showing 'Heroes' and start showing what's actually playing. That's a pretty big bug. Can we disable the floating player?
  4. This happens for me too. I hope I don't have to do a full scan every time I add music. I have 350 GB of music. The wrong song being displayed for me was Bowie's 'Heroes'. This title does include quotes in the title tag. So the first character was not a letter. It was a special character.
  5. When in the Library, hit the three dots, then select "List Options." You can check folder hierarchy from there.
  6. I didn't know that did that. Awesome! That's much better. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the reply. Man, I'm really starting to hate V3. I'll add this as yet another request on the request page.
  8. I would like to be able to see the track number and total tracks for each song in the list view within each album page. If there are 13 tracks in an album, each song should display 1/13, 2/13, 3/13, etc.
  9. I would like to be able to remove the large album art in the artist page. It's pointless, inasmuch as it shows the album art of the first album from that artist. I want an option to completely remove it and start the list of albums immediately instead of having to scroll down past the album art.
  10. I have a lot of artists and albums. Scrolling through them takes a while, and I often accidentally swipe left or right slightly instead of swiping straight up or down (especially when I'm running or working out and trying to scroll through songs). This takes me out of my list view. I want to be able to disable this swipe left/right gesture.
  11. I would like there to be a scroll bar/slider to scroll through the list of artists and albums more easily. This was on V2 and it made it so much easier to scroll through long lists instead of having to use the tiny a-z list.
  12. I have a lot of artists and albums. Scrolling through them takes a while (I wish we had the scroll bar back, but that's a different issue), and I often accidentally swipe left or right slightly instead of swiping straight up or down (especially when I'm running or working out and trying to scroll through songs). This takes me out of my list view. How can I disable this? I just want the back button to take me back out of list view. Can we disable this gesture? Thanks!
  13. Filenames as titles is a workaround, since all of my files are tagged and named properly with track numbers in front; however, they don't allow certain characters (such as colons and slashes). Because of this, many filenames have substitutions for allowable characters. Track name tags don't need these substitutions. I know that's a minor issue. Track numbers are definitely critical pieces of information. I don't use folder view since all of my files are tagged correctly. I've spent a lot of time properly tagging my music. I've never seen a music player or CD player leave track numbers off. I listen to a lot of concept albums. I like to know where a track is in relation to the rest of the album. When quickly scrolling through an album -- especially one with many tracks -- to play a certain song, it's much easier to look for the track number than the title. This is especially helpful when driving.
  14. Yeah, I want the track numbers in the list view when I click an album. I somewhat surprised that isn't already there by default. I thought it might have been my skin or a setting. That's the third most important piece of information, after album name and track name. I hope this gets fixed soon. I agree, andrewilley, field-based labeling would be even better. Thanks!
  15. I can't figure out how to display the track numbers within each album. I tried searching the forums, but I can't figure it out. I know I can turn the track counter on in the now playing screen, but I can't get them to display within each album. Thanks!
