  1. If my DAP with 1 gb of ram, running android 5.1.1 doesn't lag on DSD64 .dsf files, I'm not sure what will.
  2. Midi is like the recipe of a song. There's no ingredients present. You still need a soundfont to apply it to.
  3. I'll add onto this with a report that when in full screen visualization mode, one can mis-click the static waveseek bar, jumping the track forward or back. No other UI elements which are hidden in full screen visualization mode can be mis-clicked, only the seekbar, oddly.
  4. They had this option disabled, hence why it appeared to be full screen visualization.
  5. There is a "no EQ/DSP" option for every output plugin and every output device. Just dig into the menu for the output plugin and output device that you use with your setup. (This is not the only way to do what you want, evidenced by the other good tips you've got in the thread)
  6. Alternatively, go to Poweramp's settings-> audio -> output -> (choose output method) -> (choose output device) -> toggle "no EQ/DSP" on.
  7. Re-read the above posts. Poweramp player is for local music. It has an equalizer, but that's self contained. Poweramp EQ won't do anything unless given appropriate permissions to re-touch the audio streams of different apps.
  8. If the track counter resets, it is a newly shuffled list. There is no "history" stored (besides play counts ticking up).
  9. You describe the volume level "buffeting" so to speak, bouncing off the limiter haphazardly. If you add a negative pre-amp gain, coinciding with the maximum positive gain you have on any specific band, you shouldn't have it constantly fighting with the limiter as you describe. Yes, you will lose a bit of output power at the top end due to the negative pre-amp gain. But at least the levels won't be fluctuating wildly.
  10. Observe the behavior of your headset's buttons while on the now playing screen. If it doesn't mess up your shuffled playback with Poweramp in the foreground, why should it mess it up while in the background?
  11. But there is logic present for other formats? Ie, front, back, leaflet, etc. This cover type is shown when files are inspected with tool like mediainfo.
  12. It doesn't matter where you export a backup, same as it doesn't matter where you import one from. Just make the backup. I myself have neglected to do so when it's completely within reach. Possibilities of where to save it are entirely up to you. It's Timestamped and clearly named. Save it. Carry on.
  13. It might not be an option, should you be without an internet connection, but I guarantee one of many existing search engines and lyric sites can do this without fail. Example: Genius
  14. It needs connection to the Internet 24 hours after first install to cache it.
  15. Once you see this on the "About" page in Poweramp's settings, it shouldn't need any further connections.
  16. The mix of "ft." "," and "&" makes things a little wonky. Do you have any of these characters set to split multiple artists? If the affected songs and the albums containing them are all located in one "artist" folder that's easily movable, I suggest moving it to somewhere outside of Poweramp's view, rescanning your library (so they disappear), then before moving the "artist" folder back, add an underscore to the folder name (so it appears totally new to Poweramp). Then move the folder back and have Poweramp rescan your library again. If you haven't done a full rescan yet, that should be the nuclear option that ought to fix it if all else fails.
  17. Bandcamp usually has pretty complete metadata (with the exception of genre tags, those are always blank :P). The filenames are formatted as artist-album-tracktitle, this is true. This could just be an exception, though.
  18. I'd be curious to know if it's a sample rate change that does this. This would require you to find songs in the wild with these bit-depth/SR combinations, such as going from 24-44.1 to 16-44.1, 24-48 to 16-48, or 24-96 to 16-44.1, just to see. I think Poweramp EQ works at constant sample rate?
  19. "Automatic Tag Editor" on the play store does a fine job on Android, even managing to grab album art that I myself couldn't even find with a thorough google image search or albumartexchange. It hasn't (for me) found the full gamut of obscure or less used tags (like composer) but everything else it's found is quite accurate. Still recommend mp3tag on windows, though, it's much better at managing a bigger library and with a little setup you can make smart use of batch operations.
  20. Follow this guide. (Specific to X5iii and performance) Specific to Poweramp, allow initial scanning of library to complete in foreground, and then turn off any automatic rescanning. Just manually rescan if you knowingly update your library. Otherwise, if you happen to have any microSD card in second slot, it periodically unmounts/remounts when display is turned off, causing additional unnecessary rescans.
  21. @mwk just search your email for anything from "PayPro Global" containing "Order ID"
  22. I'm sorry, was that written in stone somewhere? I'd recommend trying to purchase Poweramp EQ from a desktop browser logged into your account credentials, then selecting to install it on your device (can be done remotely from the browser).
