    Hi @maxmp
,can you support my device for hi res? some sample rate don't work, only 44.1,48 and 192 only are working. I don't clearly remember earlier, different sample rate works fluently in my device but with lowered audio volume but bottomlime, it works. Thank you.

This update is just amazing!! I have gotten better sound with 5 bands of parametric eq than 15 bands of graphic eq. However, after this update i have been facing a bug with the preset auto-assign. It dosent happen all the time but occasionally when i connect my earphones the parametric presets dosent change to the one i assigned for headphones. Same happens when i remove headphones, it dosent switch to the preset I assigned for speakers. Has anyone else faced this issue, or is it just me

assigned preset works well in my device

  3. was that normal? in parametric equalizer, first 2 color of parametric band shown only on panning area? earlier that was the case but now it's okay. don't know what triggers to show all the colors. i tried 10 bands for testing and all of them have unique configuration.

may i suggest a priority layers of colors according that what parametric band is selected? i have 2 suggestion but either of the two will implemented if it was suited for other users preference.

1st. when band is selected the corresponding color only shows on equalizer pan area and the others band color were hide or have lower opacity than the selected likewise if no band are selected opacity off all colors are normal therefore layering each other.

2nd. custom opacity for each band color and more color selection either by hex values or tint dropper(tint cursor) for fully customized experienced.

p.s i may move this to feature request later.

Turning DVC off did not make any difference for me (although I can see why it could do). It still works with speaker & Bluetooth, but not with wired headset.

Could you check that you still see the same results with build 903 as before, in case your settings were different when you did that test.

    Andre

it works on Bluetooth flawlessly even dvc is on and  audio ducking is pretty audible. tested yesterday.

So to clarify, this does not appear to be an issue that only occurred with Poweramp build 905 and it occurs with earlier builds too, and so it could be related to other system changes such as Android updates etc.

Ironically, while I was out walking at lunchtime and listening to a podcast on my wired headphones, I received a notification - and that time, both the audio ducking and the notification sound occurred correctly.

    Andre

still not correct in my case. my work around is disable dvc for wired headset.

i qoute "it's 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚢 working fine in 903". I can't remember what version is working fine at any setting but theres one.

at PA903, after playing the settings with dvc, equ, and outputs. results are the same.

aaudio ouput does not lower the volume even dvc,equ are off.

openes sl and audiotrack are okay even dvc is on(there's a slight difference on volume ducking if it is off) bottomline it works fine.

    haven't tried on Bluetooth.

i'll try to reproduce this in 903.

I just did some tests with internal speaker and bluetooth headphones and it works fine - volume dips in order to play the notification sound. Obviously the comparative levels depends on what level you are listening to music at vs. your chosen notification volume.

However the same tests with a wired headset did seem incorrect. The notification sound did not play at all and the music volume did not dip - the only indicator that the notification had occurred was the phone's vibration effect. I tried several output methods (OpenSL ES, Hi-Res, and AAudio) and got the same result each time, with the EQ on or off. Could be related to the odd way Samsung routes notification sounds when using a wired headset (it can send the tones to the internal speaker, although it did not in this case).

    Andre

i'm agree vibration is the only indicator that notifications arrive however in my case it plays but volume does not dip.

opensl es, audiotrack-volume ducking is fine when dvc is off.

hi res- dvc on/off, volumes ducks.

aaudio- whether dvc ,equ, tones, limit are off. volume does not duck

As you this issue only happened in the latest build, could you try a fresh install of (for example, as you mentioned it elsewhere) build 903 to confirm that?

[Edit] Just noticed that the Downloads section is missing many of the interim builds, the available files go straight from 893 to 905, not sure why. I'll append 903 to this post.

okay heres my final verdict, duck volume mess with equalizer, and AAudio output but not with tones, stereo, limit, tempo and in terms of audio output, opensl and audiotrack outputs suits when equalizer is off.

    real culprit is DVC.

okay i'll give it a shot

edit: as 903 uni. duck volume performs well. notification sound is pretty noticeable.

I've not noticed any significant differences in build 905 compared to previous builds as far as volume ducking for notifications goes. Are you use you haven't adjusted any of your output modes in the meantime?

    Andre

no, just default values for output modes.  this occurs in wired headset and Bluetooth connection. sometimes its working but audio duck is not good, it Lowers the volume but not significantly prioritizing the notification sound and somehow can't distinguishable and there are times that its not working-just no ducking effect.

i tried fresh installation as of now, which is 905 play version and no good too.

  13. Audio duck feature is buggy PA 905 UNI. whether turned on or off, if turned off it simply pause then resume after incoming notification which is okay. the problem is it doesn't lower the volume to distinguish notification coming specifically from messages instead it rocks along with music. 🤟🏻

override by audio output is toggled off.

build 903 and earlier probably doesn't have this bug.

p.s sometimes it works but mostly not. when working ducking volume is not considerable to distinguish incoming notification sound. volume duck threshold is slightly higher.

    screenshot attached for reference setting.

  14. i had this problem too.

button is not responding properly when screen is off.

tried to seek last command logs but it seems does not log the problem. it logs only the surface of the problem but when screen lock triggers button headset does not responding accordingly.

this problem is not present on 903-904, but has problem regarding skip track using volume button.

905 fixed the skip track by volume button but triggers the problem on wired/Bluetooth headset button

  15. button not responding when lock screen triggered(screen off).

pressing twice the button on wired headset when screen is off tends to pause only the current song. pressing once does not do anything. thrice only pause then immediately playing the song. this problem was not present on PA earlier version.

tried the fresh installation seems cannot solve the problem.

    i'm using PA 905 uni.

    stock rom, not rooted.
