  1. thank you!!! I recently installed an app for long press volume keys and didn't work properly, having this feature directly in Poweramp works! missed that so much, thanks again!!
  2. is it just me or we can't set Poweramp as default music player in google assistant anymore? I can play if I ask directly "play whatever in Poweramp", but I want to be able to just say "play whatever" and directly go to Poweramp, wich it should be possible to set up in google assistant's settings>music>music service, but Poweramp is not in the list
  3. @maxmp you're missing a saving point or whatever, when I updated, Force Speaker Off (for Hi-Res Output) was turned off (I had it on before the update). Btw, HUGE thanks for this option, since it fixes sound leaking from speakers
  4. I gave this issue some time to see if I could ignore it, but I can't, so as @maxmp suggested here I started this request. I have flat EQ with 0% Bass and 0% Tone for speaker, another for bluetooth, and also have a preset for Wired Headset. There are some songs, and entire albums that I saved custom presets for, but the problem is, they override per-device ones (like maxmp said), but I think it should be: This (should be not permitted, always select the context, either speaker, wired, bluetooth or combination of 2 or more): Should NOT override this: or this: But this SHOULD override the previous 2 screenshoots (respectively): basically, currently it's not possible to save in that way (both apply to folder (or song) AND speaker or wired headset), doing so will unassign the preset that was saved with only speakers or wired headset option selected. and I find that a problem. So it should be mandatory that when you want to save a preset for a song or entire album, select if you want that to be done when wired, speaker, bluetooth or combination of 2 or more. I hope the situation I tried to explain was clear enough
  5. @maxmp thanks for that! it's the first time I use it and I find it super useful, is there a way to make it wired headset only too? for example, per-track/folder assignment but only when wired is plugged, not when played in phone's speaker, meaning it doesn't override other presetes that are only marked for wired headset? (I don't know if it's clear what I'm asking for, but basically having a preset for a track or folder + wired headset and not override the preset that is already assigned for wired headset only) EDIT: and it's also overriding speaker only preset
  6. Are you sure it isn't 5 seconds? It's the new timeout (can be disabled in Settings>Lock Screen>Shorter Timeout)
  7. it is to keep aspect ratio of the album cover, else would be stretched
  8. so is now an official release? it says updated yesterday instead of september 2016. Don't forget to change the showcase imagery on the playstore @maxmp
  9. if you guys have Tasker, you can auto turn on/off do not disturbe mode with this: https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=AS35m8l%2FTG5rH0nc3dkUf0velJg1WfGzFJGHG97Zz0lrjOjHn6zHg8Var6FcUlUHhN%2Byy8k%3D&id=Profile%3APowerAmp+State#
  10. @maxmp Can you throw some light here? Trying to send an intent to open a file and I can't make it work, I don't know if there is a problem with the API, or if it is Tasker, or if I'm just a noob. This is what I tried so far: Action: com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND Cat: None Data: file:///storage/2EAE-2BA7/Music/0emulated/HI RES/09. Three Little Birds.flac Extra: cmd:20 Target: Service Tried all combinations by changing/filling: Cat to Default Mime Type to Audio/*, text/*, text/plain, and text/html Data I tried file:// instead of file:/// Target Activity and Broadcast Receiver Class to PowerampAPI Package to: com.maxmpz.audioplayer.player.PlayerService, com.maxmpz.audioplayer, com.maxmpz.audioplayer.player Note 1: when I fill Package, I don't get any error, else I get the following: Note 2: the following URI works*, but is not what I want: Action: com.maxmpz.audioplayer.API_COMMAND Cat: None Data: content://com.maxmpz.audioplayer.data/files?lim=1&flt=three little birds Extra: cmd:20 Target: Service *the only thing that doesn't work in this case is lim, it throws every row it finds
  11. I don't have any problem on Oreo 8.0 stock Xperia XZ, sounds epicly nice
  12. well, with that system you could just add a "wait" for the length of the song, and then send command 14 or 2, even command 1 will work for this matter, either after the wait or as an exit task, and sorry but I couldn't manage to make it work with file://path, I get error 877, you can look at the Poweramp api yourself and experiment, I'm no expert on this really, jsut trying to help because I also learn from this. you could also add more words to flt=
  13. @vikirecon sent you a message EDIT: I'll also add my solution here for everyone else. This is mainly a task request, so I just made a sample profile to show that it works by trigger (and also so I can export it and make it downloadable for everyone else from the new taskernet feature), in this case, the trigger is opening the settings app, so when you open settings it will start playing the song, in the case of @vikirecon it is vishnu remix, so change that to whatever you want, oh, and as you can see in the task, it's set in a variable, of course you can set that variable inside any other task, I just made it be set in the same task that sends the intent for obvious sharing reasons. Also obviously you can delete the profile and create a new one to suit your needs and just use the task. Description: I couldn't find a way to open a file path, so I just query a search (use the NAME of the song NOT THE FILE NAME) and limited to 1 result: content://com.maxmpz.audioplayer.data/search?lim=1&flt=the SONG NAME you want Solution: https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=AS35m8l%2FTG5rH0nc3dkUf0velJg1WfGzFJGHG97Zz0lrjOjHn6zHg8Var6FcUlUHhN%2Byy8k%3D&id=Profile%3APowerampTriggerSong# EDIT 2: I don't know why but it's not limiting to 1 result, may be a bug @maxmp
  14. I don't use audiobooks, but this is for sure a great idea +1
  15. @maxmp remember that "bug" about Hi-Res + DVC compatibility issue in some devices that causes audio leaking through speakers after a random period of time passes? I noticed that when I repeatedly click my headphones mic button the audio briefly comes back to headphones, maybe for half a second each time I press it (then leaks again from speakers)
  16. Me, when Im using other app (Poweramp in background) after the second song finishes it stops playing
