  1. The developer updated Solid Explorer a couple days ago, so we can modify the contents of android folder (for now)
  2. @giannisgx89 It's a pleasure, I just don't wanted to ask for a promo code. Keep up the good work! That was a super quick fix, so far so good! Thank you very much!
  3. @giannisgx89 Good job, btw I just bought it right now and here's my first bug report. Rounded corners doesn't seem to work for me.
  4. @andrewilley Wow, good to know. I'm just wondering how I did not noticed it until now. I guess I just got so used to it that I don't have to worry about any sneaky data thief trackers. Thank you andre!
  5. That's pretty interesting... I just browsed my emails and I have found one I got last year in the 29th of september from the Poweramp forum, full with tracking images in it. (single pixels with trackers in it). Well, I'm not concerned about any of that because I'm a die hard privacy warrior on my own with all the tools I need. Private DNS, randomized browser fingerprint, very strict ad and tracker blockers, thrird-party cookies blockers, disguised third-party tracker blockers. (Yeah, just call me crazy but I believe in our rights to defend our personal data from the huge data mining maffia out there) It's definitely interesting...
  6. I agree, yes it has some minor issues and a couple of bugs that are already meantioned in here, aside from those minor issues it works pretty well. I tried the new synced lyrics feature in a few ways. (.lrc files, embedded synced lyrics) absolutely no problem at all, except the last line. It worth mentioning though with embedded synced lyrics, special tags like "SYNCED_LYRICS" doesn't work. But it's easy to actually embed the synced lyrics into the audio file, just use the standard lyrics tag with time stamps.
  7. @有餅 That must be a timing issue with the synced lyrics itself, I have not noticed such problem with the lyrics, it always switches to the next sentence on time, although I make my own synced lyrics and not downloading them from other sources. I can confirm that it skips the last sentence on every song.
  8. Correct, most music players don't recognise embedded synced lyrics with multiple time stamps, usually the first one will be showed and all the rest will be ignored by the player. If there's repeated sentences in the song, it should all have their own time stapms and text entries. As everyone can see it in my above post, I don't have any problems with embedded synced lyrics, Poweramp shows it correctly.
  9. Just installed the latest beta, I love the new synced lyrics feature, it works as expected with only one exception, it always skips the last sentence. Also found a couple of bugs but users already mentioned those. So far so good, I love it. Great job @maxmp!
  10. @ggarza Just for fun I made another one, this is more close to the winamp style spectrum, without color transition between the green and yellow colors. This one is as close as you can get to that. Classic 2.milk
  11. @ggarza The closest you can get with Poweramp. Spectrum Classic.milk
  12. I think the title speaks for itself, it would be a good idea to move the milk presets folder out of the android folder, or even make it user configurable so we could actually choose it from which folder the milk presets should be loaded, making it a whole lot easier than the other way around, which is to plug your phone into a pc, add/edit milk files inside the folder then place it back to android/data, which is just simply pointless and inconvenient, since we can open .milk files with a text editor and edit it on the phone, so there's absolutely no reason to do this on a pc. Google just keeps messing with the android folder in order to restrict access to the directory, I used Solid Explorer to do these things, with the android 13 update, google messed it up. Now FV File Explorer came up with a solution, but I have a feeling that it wouldn't take too long until google breaks things again, and we will, again, have to use pc for those simple tasks, which is just annoying. It shouldn't be so hard to make the milk presets load from any other folder than android/data.
  13. @Bongani Ngonyama Dude, don't post identification in public, are you out of your mind? @andrewilley please remove his ID photo.
  14. @andrewilley Sometimes weird stuff, glitches happening all over the UI, I have catched some of that too. For example, theme glitches, text overlapping to buttons, samsung's theme accent color completely hides text in the settings menu screen, stuff like that. Sometimes it's annoying but as long as it functions as a player, I don't give much attention to those glitches.
  15. I'm also a sammy user, can not replicate this bug on my device.
  16. You can forward / backward by long pressing the next or previous song button, or just easily slide left-right on the seekbar / waveseek. Altough A-B repeat is a much requested function, sadly it's still have not made it's way into Poweramp. For future reference, please check the frequently requested features index.
  17. ...and there are excellent softwares out there to do that specific thing. In general, we are not using midi files for listening purposes, like when you're listening to a song. And, you can't just play back midi files cause as @andrewilley said, they do not contain any actual musical waveforms to play it back, so it needs a built-in software synthesizer with a soundfont to be able to play it back. It's a specific thing, I don't see a point in here why it should be playable in Poweramp.
  18. @Burak Cihan The problem with that is, we cannot hear with your ears. Everyone has different taste and style, some people loves their music mostly sounding flat, or applying just small eq adjustments, some people applies heavy eq, because they like it that way. It's really not that hard to create a preset for yourself. Use the stock presets as a base. For example, if you like your music, with bass & treble? Use the bass & treble preset as a base and just fiddle with it a little bit while you're listening to your music, do it until you're satisfied with the results. Just remember the basic rule of equing. Always cut back before you add! For example, if you're adding +6dB with eq, you also have to cut back 6dB to make headroom for your adjustments.
  19. Yeah, I have noticed some strange acting of the settings menu as well, the accent color completely hides the text in the settings menu after bixby routines switch to light theme, so I have to play with it until it (somehow) fixes itself, it's just a quick fix though and it won't stay that way. In dark theme there's no issues. I did not care about that too much.
  20. @beat8000 I have also have changed devices a couple of times over the years, never had any problem with suddenly disappearing purchases. What I have bought before, It was all there, ready to use. I have never heard a complain about lost purchases before. And even if it was lost, I would just buy it again instead torturing myself because it doesn't cost something like $1800 and I just think about it the way, I have bought max a coffee to thank him for his work. I did it already a couple of times. When I change device, I change account as well as I'm paranoid about the safety of my personal information since a couple of years ago someone stolen my identity on facebook. We can say, since than, I have "fake" accounts, nothing to do with my real identity. I even try to avoid using bank accounts, stuff like that in favor of keeping my information to myself. If I can, I just buy giftcards to use for purchases.
  21. We have tried to address your situation within the forum rules, you have got your replies and suggestions many times from multiple users and you just can't accept it. The fact is, you have nothing to show up. And I have never heard / seen anything like what you're talking about. You change your device and all of a sudden your purchases magically disappear. There's no such thing like this. And the most annoying thing is, you're trashing a developer, the staff and the forum users with whom you have nothing to do with, as seemingly you have no proof you have actually purchased the product. So? I can't stand sutiations like this. I'm not a developer and not a staff member, but I know app developing is not an easy thing, especially for one person all alone. We are happy to help anyone if we can, who have real issues in our community. Seemingly, that's not you!
  22. @Ben R I'm just too mad seeing you here still and complaining about your lies, couldn't care less about this topic anymore and what you're sayin' Anyway, Poweramp, Poweramp equalizer, both thing is a product, not a free ticket. And I have to agree with @MotleyG in the matter that, I also can't believe that this topic is still open.
  23. @Ben R There's a lot of free music players out there to choose from if you do not want to "re-purchase" Poweramp, look around and download the one you like, that's one thing you can do for example. The second thing you can do is contacting google support as many of us suggested it already. This topic is still a nonsense though, I don't think anyone would believe this nice story you just made up here. Cause a device change, every purchase just "disappeared" on the same google account and you can't show up any proof of purchase. Yeah, because there were no purchases from the beginning to start with. Cook up something better and come back later. You won't get a "free ticket" from here. This is a product, if you want it, you have to buy it like everyone else does.
  24. @giannisgx89 Don't worry mate, just write a post explaining the situation in your groups / pages / channels and everything will be ok.
  25. @giannisgx89 Oh, I know people are quick to attack if they don't like something, rather than investigate the situation first themself to make it sure, and try to help if they can. Sometimes these things can happen unintentionally. What makes me raise my fist is, most of those people are just liars and they are using pirated apps, yet complaining to the developer while there is nothing in common between a genuine product and a stolen / modified app.
