  1. @maxmp Thank you very much. Poweramp 904 OnePlus 8 Pro Android 11 Google Nest Hub: Software 35.32.12.358248230 (Must be what was updated while I was watching the Chromecast version 🤦🏻‍♂️) Chromecast 1.52.249748 (same as the one I had the other day) I've been playing songs with the Poweramp screen in the background on the Nest Hub now without any sound stopping issues. And it also shows quite accurately the timing of the audio with only minimal update delay when I bring the screen back to foreground. As always congratulations on an excellent job.
  2. Thank you very much @maxmp. Right now my Nest Hub is using Chromecast version 1.52.249798 (being registered in the "Preview Program"). I will force a reboot in case I had already received a new version and if not, as soon as I receive it, I will test accordingly to share the results. And the same when the new version of Poweramp arrives to test how it shows the elapsed time.
  3. I was looking to see if anyone else had the same thing happen to them when streaming from Poweramp on Google Nest Hub as I had seen some issues with Chromecast or TV devices and found this old thread. In my case (OnePlus 8 Pro - Android 11) I can broadcast from Poweramp (build-903) on Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker, which includes its own Chromecast, but I can't listen to a full song on Google Nest Hub. As soon as Poweramp is no longer in the foreground (the Nest Hub shows the clock, for example) the audio freezes and at best stutters fragments of a few seconds. The Google Nest Hub device is updated with the latest version of Chromecast. On the phone I have tried every option I could think of. On the audio output: - Raised the buffer to 4000ms. - Sampling at 44.1 khz and 16 bit. In other Poweramp settings: - Use Wakelock. - Keep service. - Always keep notification (the recommended option from Android 8 onwards). In phone settings: - Exempt from battery consumption optimization. The thing is that it only happens to me in Google Nest Hub with Poweramp as other applications, both to play streaming (such as Spotify) as players for mp3 in the phone memory, do not have that problem. Is there a setting I have overlooked or an idea I have not thought of to try? Has anyone found a solution to avoid using an alternative player just to be able to use with that device? Thanks!
  4. Great job! I installed the equalizer when it was released although I didn't get much use out of it and now I just reinstalled it for use with Spotify and other players. Premium version purchased.
  5. Thank you! It was driving me crazy and I hadn't see anyone else with this problem. Changing the font has fixed it!
  6. I don't know if anyone else has commented on it but I haven't seen it... I have a One Plus 8 Pro that has recently been updated to the first versions of Android 11 and I found that in the skins I used without problems in Android 10 now there is a visualization error as the texts, even in the menu, are a few pixels up. However, the built-in skins are perfectly visible. Attached is a comparison of the built-in dark skin and the display problems in various skins such as Liv Dark, Luminous Black or Retro Black Skin.
  7. You are right. It is not full size only better than before. And... It's weird, with the "fixed" alternative layout is small as before. Huawei Mate 10. Android 9.
  8. Hi @Andrew0 Great job! Finally I can use the alternative layout with a full-size album art. Could you add the "text color" option on this skin like you did on the gold skin?
  9. Another fan of Material 2 Skin. Great work! Could you add a transparent button bar option?
  10. I have the same problem with this skin and with the free skin when I use the alternative layout in my Mate 10. The covert art becomes smaller and there are wasted spaces on the sides.
  11. The same thing happens to me in my Mate 10. With the alternative ui the cover art does not occupy all the available space. And over the buttons is too much wasted space.
  12. Thanks Max! The highlight of the song that is playing is perfect BTW!
  13. Wow! Great update @maxmp Thanks for your work!
  14. Maybe I'm wrong but in the screenshots of other devices I see three available output options: the native audio API OpenSL ES / OpenSL ES HD, and the Hi-Res (Experimental) via hardware. The Huawei Mate 10 shows the OpenSL ES and the OpenSL ES HD options as seen in the screenshots of my previous post, and in your screenshots, but not the Hi-Res Output (Experimental)... Or is it possible that I am making a mistake and should not expect a Hi-Res option via hardware?
  15. There is also a curious difference between the 709 and 790 version with the Huawei Mate 10. 790 allows to use OpenSL ES HD Output on the speaker, 709 does not.
  16. Huawei Mate 10. Stock ROM. Android 8.0.0 No Hi-Res option available with 709 or 790 version. audio_policy_configuration.xml audio_policy.conf
