If you have Android nougat (7.0), you don't need this. The built-in notification for Poweramp doesn't work on Android Oreo, but it should work on every other version of Android.

Download Notification Helper v 1.3, download ES File Explorer (or any other file explorer), go into the file explorer, find Notification Helper in downloads, select it, then select "install apk".

Looks and functions great, at this point it works just as well (maybe even better) than the original Poweramp notification, but would it be possible to make the notification black?

I was having the same problem with chrome where it says "cannot open file", but figured out if you go to ES File Explorer and install the apk from there it works.
