  1. It's not my app. I just really want it to work and the developer hasn't addressed this issue either, so I'm putting eggs in all the baskets.
  2. I posted a log in the topic I linked above, but here goes another one I just collected: ================== 11:18:21.737 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_NEXT ACTION_DOWN name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=458917983 playerState=1 ================== 11:18:23.624 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_PREVIOUS ACTION_DOWN name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=458919870 playerState=1 ================== 11:18:25.538 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.int
  3. Poweramp does catch the next/previous commands sent by the Skip Tracks app (as confirmed by the Last Processed Commands list in Poweramp), but doesn't actually skip tracks as expected:
  4. Skipping tracks with the volume buttons works great, however it doesn't play nice with apps that enable these controls system-wide, such as this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-skip-track-volume-keys-t3914337 Right now, if I enable volume button controls in Poweramp they won't work for any other apps, while if I disable Poweramp's setting and enable the app linked above, the button controls work in every app except for Poweramp. Hopefully this can be fixed!
  5. There are no ACTION_UP events, that might be the issue.
  6. Device: Xiaomi Mi A1 Android version: 9.0 Poweramp version: v3 Build 823 Report: The app Skip Tracks Settings and others allow long-pressing the volume buttons to skip tracks: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-skip-track-volume-keys-t3914337 It works on every music app I've tried except for Poweramp. Apparently Poweramp does catch the commands, judging by the beeps that I hear after trying to skip to the next or previous track, but doesn't actually skip tracks. The Last Processed Commands list from Poweramp has entries like the following: 09:2
  7. More often than not there are noticeable resizing artifacts on the album art displayed in the Player screen. It'd be nice if it had a smoother, "properly resized" look. Other than that, I'm absolutely loving Poweramp!
