  2. Hi Max and guys, first of all I would like to wish all of you a very Happy New Year, full of high res music through our beloved PA!! Recently I noticed a small bug (not sure whether it's PA or not). My phone is an LG G6 latest Pie (stock) ROM. For playback I use a pair of RHA T20 Wireless and the story goes like this: when I listen to music, the first time I receive a call PA stops playback but when the call ends playback does not resume, I have to do it manually. For the subsequent calls, PA works as normal, resumes playback upon call end.
  3. +1 BTW, 843 solved my problems, does not crash any more. Thanks Max!
  4. The same on the LG G6 with Android 9, recent update. Also the icon pack I have (LineX) does not recognize the new Poweramp icon and instead of using the icon within the icon pack it uses the app icon.
  5. I too use the same device, no problems here. Is there anything you would like to check?
  6. I suggest to move the time indicators above the progress bar. There is enough space to do that.
  7. For what it's worth, I too do not have problems with gapless playback. All my music library is on the SD card. I use a LG G6 with a Sandisk Extreme Pro 32GB 100MB/s read nominal. Read benchmark values 86.2MB/s with A1 SD Bench.
  8. Hi everybody. I would like to know how many of you have tested Poweramp on their android phone with external usb dacs and what you think of the end result. I went to a hi-fi exhibition last weekend with my phone and inear headphones to test this configuration, as I was considering to buy an external dac, small enough to carry with me for android and my windows laptop. To my surprise I did notice some differences with external dacs (not all of them though) but imho the differences were not enough to justify the expense. I guess it's because PA upsamples tracks to whatever the internal dac is capable of so this upsampled sound is fed to the external dac and little remains to be improved. I would like to know if you had similar experiences in the past and, if so, what was your impressions? My phone is an LG G6 (not the + model I'm afraid) and my headphones are the Focal Sphear S. P.S. I would love to try PA again once bit perfect output is enabled to see the differences,
  9. I believe that what you point out is exactly what the developer intended to do. Current track on top, following track in the bottom. Anyway the bottom field has numerous uses and changes upon tapping it, so someone else would care to display other info.
  10. That's one of the long pending requests, once v3 steady is out and all bugs are ironed. You can find it in another thread.
  11. I second that. I have reported the same in a previous beta version of PA. It's much easier to tap the same song than tap the current playing bar at the bottom as its size is much smaller.
  12. I run into a bug yesterday. Normally, PA displays "Artist - Album" below the song name. When I checked the new option to use the album artist tag instead, PA displays "Album Artist - Artist" instead of "Album Artist - Album". LG G6 Oreo stock ROM
  13. @blaubär, I recently downloaded UAPP which plays each file natively. Still testing, but up to now I think PA sounds equal or better. Will test it with all sorts of file though.
