  1. Just as simple as that... Both widgets and shortcuts are meant to facilitate our lives... no need for a playlist shortcut to open the app! plus it's great for automating your home with music! any guest can press a desired playlist frim the tablet hanging on the wall and music plays right away... just a home screen showing various playlists! sending the guest to the application would only complicate the automation... what do you think? a nice new feature? please send your feedeback as i assume that's probably the way Poweramp developers take into account users ideas / suggestions! Thanks!

  3. I'm trying to transform my Ziio to a home media center which streams music to my audio equipment. I'm trying to control and limit it to just that, so that anybody who plays around with it has only the choice of pressing playlists in the home screen. When one presses a specific playlist, sometimes it begins playing it and sometimes it just doesn't (depends if the player was left in a menu, or if you paused it while playing a song). I would love to know if it's possible to force it to begin playing the playlist no matter what. It would be incredible if the playlist widget didn't necessarily have to open up Poweramp... just begin playing the song! Thanks!
  4. One of the great features of Poweramp is its crossfading functionality (and gapless fading). It makes it much more DJ-like and much more fun to listen to music. Now how about adding a mode in which one just sees a playlist or folder list and with touching a specific list or folder it automatically begins playing the list without leaving that view. Currently one can press on the right hand side and options will appear (one of them is PLAY). You can even adjust in settings to not enter the list view and just begin playing the list from that view. However, I'm talking about a special mode with a commercial focus. Let's say, you rent audio equipment for parties and wish to offer an integral solution for the music. A solid, fool proof mode for AutoDJ functionality where the customer can't exit the mode (a special gesture needed) and where he only sees lists / genres / folders which he can touch to begin playing them. It could also be used for automating music in your home. Imagine your tablet hanging on the wall, displaying just playlists or genres and with a press of a button it automatically begins playing music on the enabled sections of your home. Just an idea for the Poweramp programmers.
