  1. I don't know if it was after updating to the latest version or switching to parametric EQ and swapping it back to graphic EQ that caused it but a lot of my EQ presets are now missing. Some of these presets were made from the very early alphas of Poweramp 2.0. I have a pretty old backup so I can restore some of them, but I think I lost quite a few. Anyone can help with this?
  2. @Duarian You can go to the "Library -> Genres -> whatever genre" page and hit the shuffle button on the top left. Alternatively, you can try adding those songs of the same genre to queue, then just shuffle the whole queue. Max added the option to choose if you wanted the queue to ignore shuffle or not.
  3. Happened to me as well. It happened when finishing a queue and it goes back to playing a shuffled playlist. A full rescan fixed the issue.
  4. Thanks Max for the update. There are still some issues with Hi-Res + DVC on the LG G7 (Android 8.0) that I would like to report. 1. With Hi-Fi Quad DAC enabled, the phone automatically has 75 levels of volume, but Poweramp doesn't detect this and still thinks it's the system default (16). Volume controls becomes kinda wonky when that happens. But when DVC is disabled, the audio control is fine. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AvmXkQrknOZehOtfiYA7j8hAH7jWJg (Video with no sound) 2. Games still mute out audio that is playing from Poweramp. (With DVC disabled this doesn't happen). It doesn't pause the music player. For some reason only Brawl Stars is fine (not detected as a game by Game Tools) https://1drv.ms/v/s!AvmXkQrknOZehOteg751eRGgCZfGtA (Video) 3. With OpenSL ES Output + DVC enabled + Hi-Fi Quad DAC, there is this weird volume effect when trying to change the volume, similar issue with 1. Changing the volume is distracting enough that I don't use OpenSL ES Output and use Hi-Res with all the issues above with DVC. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AvmXkQrknOZehOtd8pr5X9n6hlwxbA (Video)
  5. I second this. I usually add a few Playlists to queue and shuffle them all. Then after those playlists have been played, it goes back to the album I was listening to. An option would be nice.
  6. Still having the issue where the next track doesn't play when a song ends and I'm greeted with the message "Failed to play". This happens when playing a playlist on shuffle songs.
  7. Yeah I'm having the same issue. With DVC enabled I have weird bugs on my phone. The volume indicator doesn't show for volume control apps and when i enter games, the sound gets cut (it gets cut, not paused). Currently, I just disable DVC and endure the significantly lowered volume. I'm using an LG G7.
  8. Hey guys, I'm trying to send an app broadcast to make Poweramp resume playing the track. I can't simulate media buttons as the flow will involve the phone being in a call. Right now this is the app broadcast block which I have setup. I read through other posts and found the command for RESUME to be int 3 but I just can't get this block working. There's another block to send a shell command if that would work as well.
  9. Yeah I'm doing just that. Disabling DVC when high res is turned on also fixed some other weird issues like not having any sound when a game is opened. Closing the game would immediately resume the sound (the track does not get paused).
  10. Have been getting an error when playing a playlist and shuffling. After a track finishes, it doesn't go to the next one and just gets stuck. Poweramp pops this error up. The track in the photo is the last played song.
  11. Having this issues as well. Enabling DVC causes a lot of problems with audio (sound coming from speaker although earphones are plugged in).
  12. They are talking about backing up the entire state of Poweramp. Just reinstalling the apk will lose App Data. I personally use Helium to backup my App Data.
  13. Have been crashing whenever I open Poweramp lately. It just comes up with this Crash Log. I'm using a LG G7 on Android 8.0. 14. Just updated to 796 and ran into a bug with the Visualization presets. Some of them seem not to be working. I have tried doing a Full Presets Rescan. 20180912_112738_edited.mp4
  15. Having this same issue for some of my album art images.
  16. You can do this already sort of. Go to Settings -> Visualization -> Faded Controls Transparency. Increase this to 100%. The album art will still fade out tho.
  17. Even with the setting turned off it still happens. I think it's something to do with LG phones and their DAC. Exiting the game immediately resumes the audio from Poweramp (and it wasn't paused).
  18. Loving the update so far. Thanks Max for the hard work, really appreciate this. Just some bugs or issues that I wanna point out. 1. Even in version 709, when using High Res audio, entering a game would completely mute Poweramp and the game's audio overrides Poweramp. 2. When playing from a playlist, the shuffle feature right now has some issues. Enabling shuffle and tapping on next track would go to the top of the list and play songs in order (even though shuffling songs is turned on). 3. For a few of my embedded album arts, Poweramp reported the resolution of the image to be 1500x1500 when it should be 3000x3000. I've tried re-exporting the photos in GIMP and it still has the same result. The device I'm using is the LG G7+ with Android 8.0
  19. Same issue here. Stock ROM LG G7 running Android 8.0
  20. Expand the notification by doing the pinch out gesture or tapping on the down arrow. U should be able to see the previous button.
  21. I have a similar phone, the Huawei P10 Plus. It seems that either Poweramp doesn't support Huawei's implementation of Hi-Res (which is using the Kirin Processor) or the P10 doesn't support High-Res. OpenSL ES Output seems to be limited to 44.1 kHz
  22. Have a few bugs to report. Headphone controls doesn't seem to be working after listening for around 2 minutes. Solution is to replug the headphone into the phone and then it will start working again for a while. Need help with this. Also, High-Res for Bluetooth is not working properly. There's noticeable peaking with the EQ I'm using and this doesn't happen when using AUX. I've tried with and without DVC as well and check phone settings. Also tried on two different Bluetooth headphones and the issue is there. I'm using a LG G7 on Android 8.0 Oreo.
  23. @Bill_G I have more of the peaking issue and not really any stuttering or chopping. I have already turned on the limiter but somehow it seems that the High-Res output is not working correctly. Using the OpenSL ES Output with DVC seems to be fine, with no distortions in the sound.
  24. Having issues with Bluetooth as well. Bluetooth playback using the Hi-Res Output has some peaking with my EQ settings, regardless of turning DVC on or off. Using earphones doesn't seem to have the same issue. I'm using the LG G7 running Android 8.0
  25. @utahman1971 Thanks for the suggestion. Tried using adapt sound with DVC disabled + high-res. Sounds better and louder. Except for the bass peaking slightly, adapt sound seems to "increase the volume". I'll just turn down my EQ for now and use this until a new update is released. It sounds pretty good too, somehow sounding more bassy than the previous setup (probably due to adapt sound). EDIT: Now I know why it sounds more bassy, it goes through Samsung's EQ
