  1. @clever_man and others can mock me all you want. I have a well put together music player, not some alpha version we've been stuck with for a year. I'm not convinced v.3 will ever come out. If it ever does, I might try it, we'll see.
  2. Sorry. I've had enough waiting. You have my money, and there's been no progress for a year now. I'm moving on to another player, that provides bit-perfect playback, and I'm not looking back.
  3. I'm getting decoder timeouts on my Nougat HTC 10. I've turned DVC off, tried variations of the buffer, I can't get it to stop. It happens while just playing through an album, or jumping through the album, or multiple albums. And it's unpredictable.
  4. LG V10 w/ ESS Sabre 9018 32bit DAC. Stock rom MM 6.0. Currently PA shows Snapdragon 24bit. It does work with the Snapdragon chip but not so much the ESS SABRE chip. When switching between the two, the only difference is the built in amp.
  5. I don't know if it's my LG V10, or PA, but the A2DP Bluetooth functions that are supposed to work with my Alpine CDE-HD149BT don't. Could they be “broken” somehow?
  6. I've been doing a bunch of bluetooth research, and what I'm asking be implemented is AVRCP Bluetooth control. With that, a lot of users would be set.
  7. In my area, using your phone behind the wheel nets you a $287 ticket, and 3 demerit points. I'd like to avoid this. My aftermarket car deck (Alpine) allows for menu->album selection, and this is allowed by the law. Is it possible to add this function to Poweramp? Thanks for reading.
  8. Thanks for that. It's too bad. In my area, it's illegal to use your phone while driving, so I'd like to keep it in my pocket. If it had a menu, album setting over A2DP, I would be very happy.
  9. Okay, so I deleted Poweramp from my phone, restarted, restarted the deck, and it went to the stock Music app LG Music. That uses AVRCP to control devices over bluetooth, and DNLA over wireless. It didn't work. So, I don't know what the problem is with my phone controlling over Bluetooth, so nevermind.
  10. Hello. I have been banging my head against the steering wheel trying to get this to work. The deck supports A2DP and AVRCP. For the life of me, I cannot get Poweramp to do anything. It plays the song that is currently chosen when opening, but when I try to go to the menu section, I press the button, "Poweramp" appears, and when I go to select it, nothing happens. It doesn't allow me access to select an album or song, nothing. All I can do is press FF, and randomly go through my music collection. I have an LG V10 H961N version, and I've tried doing this with and without the stock music app disabled. I've selected all the right menu options for Bluetooth to work, but nothing.
  11. Oh, okay. That's why, when I looked at it in settings, it said "Snapdragon" etc. But with Hi-Fi DAC fix from Phasinate you're saying I should get the Sabre DAC? I'll load it now. Thanks.
  12. I tried that, but still got the Snapdragon DAC. Running MM 6.0.0.
  13. I have an Asus ZenFone 2, and an Alpine CDE-HD149BT. I can manually pick songs and albums with my phone, but using your phone while driving where I live is illegal. My old phone, a Samsung S5, sent 3 menus to the deck that worked perfect. "Artist, Song, Album." With those, I could do all I needed without taking my phone out of my pocket, staying within the law. Adding those would be great. Thanks.
