  1. I don't have the EQ on and I haven't messed with any volume settings, yet Poweramp seems to play tracks louder than my Galaxy S5's own music player (and louder than other music apps). What gives? It lowers the sound quality a bit.
  2. Hmm, the new MicroSD has a different name, so it couldn't find the songs. How can I change it to the same name?
  3. Still waiting for my new SD card to try our your advice. ^_^/
  4. I'm looking into upgrading to a phone with a better DAC/headphone jack audio output. However, I read that Poweramp uses its own codecs. Does that mean that regardless of which phone I pick, it will have the same sound quality? For example, I'm looking at LG V10 for the sweet DAC, but I read that Poweramp isn't able to access it. Another one I'm looking at is Sony Xperia Z5, but again, if Poweramp uses its own codec, will I even notice any difference upgrading from my Galaxy S5? (To be honest, the headphone audio from my S5 is really very subpar.)
  5. I have all my music on my SD card and the last time that I took my SD card out and put it back in I lost my entire Poweramp library (ratings, playlists, etc.). How can I make sure to save all this data? I've purchased a new SD card so I'm afraid that it will get a different folder address by my phone. And even if the folder name is the same, like last time, how do I keep my ratings and playlists and everything in order anyway?
  6. Thank you for the advice, works like a charm! I didn't realize playlists were so easy to manage. TheoKlink, what playlist manager tool do you use?
  7. I hope your opinion as admin resonates with the app developer.
  8. I would like to request this feature. When in the player, album artwork that is not 1:1 ratio is displayed correctly. However, when browsing the library, all album artwork is forced into a 1:1 ratio. So artwork that is not 1:1 looks really bad. I hope this feature may be added in the future, I don't think it would be too difficult. Thank you!
  9. I love to play all my songs on random, but there are a bunch of songs that I don't want to listen to unless it's a special occasion (so I do want to keep them). What's the easiest way to play "All Songs" minus the ones I don't want? Thank you, love Poweramp, bought it a long time ago. The only feature I would love to see added is play count view, but it's no biggy.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion! Alright, so I think I "fixed" it. Posting it here in case it helps someone else. I plugged in the new S5 stock headphones that came with the phone, and suddenly the issue was resolved. Now both notifications and music plays through the headphones when plugged in, and the phone itself only vibrates. However, occasionally it will malfunction again, in which case I have to: a) Restart my phone. Put notifications on vibrate only. No idea why I would have to plug in S5 stock headphones; the one I was using were Samsung as well... but hey problem solved! =)
  11. Hey guys! Sorry for just appearing here with a question. I hope you can help me. I have a really bad problem with my Galaxy S5. My S4 was fine until I updated to Lollipop, so I think that's the problem. I'm playing music with headphones plugged in, Whatsapp notification sound plays through speakers. That's fine. BUT suddenly during notification, the music ALSO plays through the speakers for a few seconds! This is really frustrating because I receive messages throughout the day and don't want everyone around me to be disturbed with what I'm listening to (in library, on bus, etc.). Thank you so much for any advice you can give me! Nothing I try works. Edit: Before Lollipop, Whatsapp notification would play on speakers and audio still through headphones. That was fine. I haven't tried turning on "temporary audio pauses" for notifications, because I'd like the music to continue playing like before.
  12. That's great... x_x Guess I'm stuck with deformed cover art lol. I hope "stupid problems" wasn't referring to mine tbh. I'm not cutting off an artist's face or title 200 times to avoid them looking like aliens in the music library of an app I paid for, when obviously it would be an easy fix (& there's no deformation in the actual play screen). Maybe there's a setting or theme someone knows about to fix this... A lot of album art's like this. Now imagine that stretched horizontally by 300%. Appealing.
  13. Bumpedy-bump. Do the devs actually check these forums?
  14. Well, that's not a fix at all... It's ruining the cover art lol. Poweramp shouldn't distort the cover art but keep the radio. Any fix for that app-wise or future update plans? Thanks for trying to help, tho.
