  1. I second this. It'd be nice to be able set the shuffle key to two options (off or on for the current list) and tap it without having to look at the player to figure out what mode it's on. To be honest, I have a hard time remembering what each shuffle mode means half the time...
  2. http://forum.poweram...ndpost__p__9284 Post I made that details how to take a selection from media monkey and create an M3U playlist that can be imported into Poweramp. Works for me and might be of help. Won't help to modify existing playlists, only to create new ones. NOTE: You'll probably need to point Media Monkey to the music folder on your phone in order for this to work correctly.
  3. If the specific year is embedded into the tags of each mp3 you could fire up MediaMonkey on your library and pull up a list of all of your songs sorted by year. Select all of the files for one year, right click > send to > M3U/XSPF Playlist > Save it in the root folder of your library (as M3U). Then open up the M3U file using notepad and remove the drive letter and path UP TO THE ROOT FOLDER for each file listed. (use the replace function to accomplish this quickly for all files) Example - if your root folder has files and folders in it the file should look something like this: \MP3 file in root music directory.mp3 \SUBFOLDER\MP3 file in subfolder directory.mp3 May have to import playlists into Poweramp in order to see them.
  4. I've run into the same issue on my Droid3, and not just with Poweramp. Seems to happen with multiple music applications. I also get duplicated playlists, but most of them appear empty after connecting to a computer. Also, same thing seems to happen when I delete a song that was in a playlist. I haven't found a reliable way to prevent this from happening and would appreciate any input as well...
  5. +1 to this. I know he mentioned that it's planned for an upcoming release (http://forum.powerampapp.com/index.php?/topic/1794-Poweramp-todo-listfeatures-in-progress/) He pushes out updated beta versions here on the forums much more frequently than that of most other media players, which is much appreciated. It's nice to see continued progress in the product which is much more than I can say for some other apps. Still, it'd be nice to have an update on how the progress is coming along. Haven't said it yet, but thanks for the great app!
