  1. @hernangb Dark mode for  skins does not make sense in my opinion. Take Yaps for example, the user is able to set many many options, colours, backgrounds, change layout etc. The "dark skin" must be pre specified and will vary from user to user so a "dark mode" for Yaps would be what??? . It works for default Poweramp as both light and dark are given. With custom skins  I cannot see how it would work.

  2. @maxmp

    1. Yaps is a paid skin, Big Yaps is free. As you cannot execute any runtime code within a skin, the only possible option (imo) is in the Main Activity which then lauches/applies the skin.

    2. Yaps and Big Yaps have different signatures

    3. are you suggesting that a skin can be licensed in the same way as Poweramp ?

  3. @slizzap remember I have no view of any of the underlying code so am sometimes in the dark about how certain things behave.  I am probably pushing the boundaries of the skin capabilites and there are no other skins out there doing similar things so it is often experimentation. Also note that there is no development for Android Auto or the Poweramp widget so I cannot help with any issues here.

As for your request, yes, this makes sense. I will try and add this in the near future

  4. @andrewilley there are no gradient colour options for the navseekbar. Leave it transparent and it will pick up the navbar background colour. However, it will never achieve a smooth look as each gradient area (miniplayer, nabar etc) has parameters x,y which determine the way the gradation is applied. I can add a static background for blue grey which would give you a smooth look as shown in my earler example

I've noticed a few minor interface positioning glitches as of the most recent release.

The Metadata bounding box (the rounded grey, clickable area) starts to lose its location and disappear as you move the text further down the screen.

Also the Navbar vertical adjustment doesn't work for a specific setting of 94. Values of 91>92>93 gradually step the box down the screen nicely, but setting it to 94 jumps back up several positions (to somewhere around 90-ish). Then values 95>96>97 continue moving downward correctly from where 94 ought to have been. I assume these values are not used absolutely but are indexes to a lookup table, so probably just a typo somewhere?

The colour options for the 'MiniPlayer Background' include several gradient versions (e.g. 'Gradient Blue Grey' which I was previously using) but the equivalent list for 'Navbar Seekbar Background' does not include the gradients, which makes it hard to make them look the same. When I set both of them to a solid colour there's sometimes a pixel-thin line separating the two areas which is not present with other colours (yeah, I know - picky picky!!). e.g. this is Blue 700 Opaque:

starts to lose its location, tried a few things but could not make it behave. I assume it has moved outside its boundary

specific setting of 94. Values of 91>92>93 typo , it was jumping back to 90. now corrected

the gradient background is that of the navbar. The navbar showing on eq pages is the same artifact as on main ui

this example has miniplayer and navbar set with the same gradient

    @James007 this one?

Before applying each update, take a backup of the app.
This will allow you to roll back to the previous version(s)

Recommended free app: "Backup & Restore" from Trustlook Inc
(version at time of posting :v7.2.7)

            Note:
The user can determine the preferred layout by moving items up/down, left/right.
When launching the skin for the first time your display
            may not be 100% aligned.
Go to Fine Tune>Move various objects in portrait/landscape view
Be careful when moving objects that you do not move them too far off screen

            What's new:
            - added moveable navbar
            - reorganised layout adjustment option menus
            - moved seekbar colors to Buttons and Icon options
            - move chromecast button portrait/landscape
            - extended range for track and album/artist
            - some bug fixes
