    @Lorendil, it is really up to you. As i have shown in screenshots, you can create your own preferred look. Just experiment ans see what you like best. Play about with playbuttons and colours, hide or show components. Post your preferred outcome in this thread if you want

    @MotleyG very nice 😎, if you set navbar (and android navbar) to transparent and album blur on it will blow your mind

    @drawersystem you can choose to use like/unlike, ratings from 1 to 5 or hide them alltogether. It is an option. The default is like/unlike but the first thing i do on a new Poweramp install is to switch to ratings.

    Get the latest pa version 842 and put that somewhere . Now reflect the full path including the filename in the gradle build for example: aaptOptions { additionalParameters "--package-id", "0x80", "-I", "F:\\Android\\Android\\APK\\Poweramp\\Poweramp-v3-build-842-uni.apk" }

    First of all, is your music properly tagged? Eg mp3 artist, album tags are available?. Secondly, my app will not only create Poweramp playlist but also offers a query tool "smart playlists" that does exactly what you are looking for. Links in signature

    Unfortunately not. Android 5 is the lowest level (api 21)

    Now that i see these posts, i have encountered the same on my virtual test devices . Using v829. When Poweramp installs, the storage is unticked which is strange too as no media will be found on the initial scan.

    Can I suggest you uninstall and reinstall Powramp. this may clear some old Poweramp stuff getting in the way

    Also in the thread in a post by @drawersystem it states that Korolkov has removed his skin. Other also contacted him so I think he is no longer in the running

    Given I cannot get the sample app to run, I copied the createPlaylistAndAddToIt() routine. Stepping though this, the Playlist is created without any issues. However, inserting into this playlist still fails with an unknown Uri message. Is it me or is there still an issue?

    In trying to load the powerampapi_example into Android Studio, the following error occurs Error:Content is not allowed in prolog. Looking at the log, the following line is repeated many times Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; systemId: file:/C:/Users/Theo.Enermax/Downloads/powerampapi-master/poweramp_api_example/poweramp_api_lib/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Content is not allowed in prolog. the content of the above manifgest.xml is ../../../../poweramp_api_lib/AndroidManifest.xml Any advice?
