  1. Thanks for the follow-ups! When testing I did notice Poweramp didn't play any video graphics; my mistake was assuming it had full support for video audio which would make it a suitable music app for all of my music, regardless of file format. VLC has indeed impressive format support to the point where it's easily the default app for media playback on Android, however it falls a bit short of Poweramp in terms of audio- and UI-related features. Also, thanks for the MX Player warning, this kind of thing seems to be common nowadays.
  2. It appears the current Poweramp version has some video playback support through the "Ignore video tracks" toggle. I'm able to play certain .mp4, .mkv, and .flv flawlessly with Poweramp, however upon testing I see indeed that many files with these extensions produce heavy distortion and stutter. That's unfortunate since I often download music as video files, but Poweramp is still a great app for audio files. Thanks for the reply and clear-up!
  3. Hey there! Does Poweramp support video thumbnail generation, or just downloaded or picked album art? My file explorer, gallery, and video player apps can easily make video thumbnails, however Poweramp seems to require me to either use the built-in album art downloader or manually pick images from the gallery. Automatic generation is a lot easier, so I'm wondering if I've overlooked something. Sorry if this has been asked before, I wasn't able to find other threads asking the same thing.
