  1. Sorry if that was not clear, but I was using her account to make the purchase. And we were logged in as her on the Android TV. Only reason I was mentioning my account was everything worked fine with same steps I followed probably an year ago. I will look into other option of purchasing it from the website. Thank you!
  2. I've done this before using a previous versions of PAE on two TVs, but fir some reason I'm not able to restore on my friend's TV immediately after purchase from playstore. Below are few things I already tried 1) Rebooted device 2) Made sure both devices are using same version of PAE 3) Uninstalled and reinstalled PAE 4) Installed old version (which worked for me) of PAE and restore still didn't work. Any help with it is hugely appreciated. Thank you!
  3. Anyone else having issues with this update where profiles not auto switching based on the device they are connected ? I had to manually change the profile each time I'm connwcted to a different device. which was working prior to this update, nothing changed in PAE settings or profiles. Thank you! Edit - Restarting the device seems to have fixed the issue.
  4. ' I had this same issue initially, it turns out notification access must be enabled under special app access in android settings. Do you have that enabled?
  5. Been using PAE on my Android box (also works on TVs running on Android OS), make sure you have notification access enabled under special app access in android box settings. I've noticed no nvaigation issues for what I use in the app, but it is functional. Also, check below for more information.
  6. @CarlosG Glad, it worked for you. Not many people know that it works.
  7. Been using PAE on my Android box, make sure you have notification access enabled under special app access in android box settings.
  8. Yes, that is what my initial thought to gift them credit, but just want to make sure if there was an option in the app that was obvious and I was missing. Thank you!
  9. Just wondering if there is an option or a way I can gift the PAE premium to my friends and family. It appears the old email purchase doesn't apply for PAE? Atleast I haven't noticed that option in the app after the install. Any suggestions or help in this matter is highly appreciated. Happy Holidays!
  10. In case anyone wants to try the preset I use, find the attachment. I've few others if you want to try. Dolby.txt
  11. Yes, it detects the apps that plays sound and the output difference is noticable. I was using old version (because of navigation issues with remote) of WL on Android TV and was pleased with the output. And, I wondered if Poweramp can be installed the same way and also it has easy navigation, surprisingly I was able to install the latest version and granting DUMP permission and Notification Listener Permission everything worked as expected. It's not night and day difference (at least not that I've noticed), but I was sold for navigation and since I already used it on phone I preferred Poweramp. Under Developer options in Onn UHD doesn't have this option, I can see it on my phone but not on Android TV.
  12. I managed to install and setup Poweramp equalier on Android TV (Onn UHD Box) with DUMP permission and Notification Listener Permission granted. Also, make sure to enable notification access under special app access in android settings. Was also able to turn on Enable Player Tracking to equalize on almost any player, for my setup it was able to detect player apps Netflix, Spotify, SmartTube, Prime VIdeo etc. Sound bar is connected to TV via HDMI, and I couldn't find Disable Absolute Volume in Android Settings Developer Options and I don't think DVC is of any use in this case. Here are the settings I'm using currently - you could setup this preset on phone, export and import it on the Android TV using file manager. Parametric Equalizer Settings - Preamp - 0 Freq 36, Gain 3.0, Q 4.0 Freq 170, Gain 6.0, Q 3.0 Freq 300, Gain 2.0, Q 4.0 Freq 1.50k, Gain 1.5, Q 2.0 Freq 1.62k, Gain -3.0, Q 6.0 Freq 3.50k, Gain -2.0, Q 3.0 Freq 5.50k, Gain 1.0, Q 4.0 Freq 12.0k, Gain 2.0, Q 2.0 Freq 14.7k, Gain -3.0, Q 4.0 Bass - 6.0 Trable - 9.0 Other options that I've changed in Settings under Equalizer subsection - Equalizer Values - dB Tone Values - dB Band Overlap - Cascade Smooth Equalizer/Tone Gains - Turned off I used following values for compresser for normalizing the sound - Attack - 3.4ms Release - 401.3ms Ratio - 3.3 Frequency - 20.0k Threshold - (-22.6) dB Gain - 9.0 dB
  13. Is DVC recommended for Android TV ( Onn UHD box) connected to TV source via HDMI arc? And, Sound bar is connected to TV HDMI. I see you mentioned - you meant, use it or disable it for better output? Thanks for the help!
