By default Poweramp player is excluded from equalization - due to the possible double equalization and due to the possible DVC conflict.
To enable Equalizer with Poweramp player, DVC should be disabled in the player and MusicFX should be enabled:
- Enable the use of MusicFX via Poweramp Settings=>Audio=>Advanced Tweaks>MusicFX
- Switch MusicFX mode on in Poweramp, using the control in the second tab of the EQ pages
- Then next track should be picked up by Equalizer app
It's recommended to disable equalizer in Poweramp player as double equalization is not improving the quality and easily causes overload.
