      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

Global settings for Playlists

5 posts in this topic

I have just started using PA and would like to know if there is a way to set Repeat and Shuffle options for all my 96 playlists in one go. I have found how to do them individually but a global setting would be great.

I would think that these settings are set in the player rather than on a playlist. There are two icons on the main screen, on the left repeat, on the right your shuffle options. Just keep tapping them to cycle through several different options

Correct, these are general player settings and are not related to any particular playlist or other playback mode.

Thanks I think I've got it now. The Shuffle and Repeat Icons were overlaid on an Album cover so I thought they only applied to that Album/Playlist.

I'm really liking the player but a User Guide would be great for new users though.

That might save me a good deal of time! :)

Maybe once v3 is officially released a basic guide might be worth tackling (not much point in the meantime though, as the UI look-and-feel are going to change)
