      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Hi, I cannot diagnose why Poweramp is skipping/hiccuping/stuttering. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have tried it on stock Touchwiz 5.0.1 and 4.4.2, Poweramp 2.0.10 build 588 I am aware of the article http://support.powerampapp.com/knowledgebase/articles/323527-skips-hiccups-stutters And the results from trying to use this have are: Not an SD card issue (music plays perfectly in stock player) Not Bluetooth issues (using regular wired headphones) Not tweaked ROM (I use stock Touchwiz 4.4.2 and 5.0.1, unless Touchwiz is considered tweaked?) No additional 3rd party audio effects (Adapt Sound has never been touched/set up) No CPU hungry apps (Show CPU usage in developer options does not indicate high CPU usage and GSam battery monitor shows the highest battery usage being Android OS itself) No broken formats (skipping is not consistent with particular files) If you could please help me resolve this problem I would greatly appreciate it. I have reset my phone on stock 4.4.2 and 5.0.1 in attempts to resolve it.
  2. 2.0.9-build-558-play Full Version Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T Android 4.4.2 After my last update any song I play is at a much lower volume whether connected to Bluetooth or not. any other music player such as Xbox Music, the stock Samsung player etc still has full volume capabilities. Is there a settign that was changed in the update as I would hate to have to ditch Poweramp as my main audio player.
  3. Howdy, how about extending (if possible to catch broadcast S-View event from Galaxy S4) Poweramp in order to show title / large cover / playtime / tracknumber etc. in the s-view window of the Galaxy S4, just like its done with the built-in music app from Samsung. That would be an awesome feature for all Samsung Galaxy S4 users with an s-view case. Thanks in advance for considering.... Cheers, Brummer
