Poweramp v3 - Next Beta Release Planned for April 2018   03/14/2018

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss, but it is currently hoped that the next Beta Test release will be ready for April 2018.

  1. Quando a tela esta desligada a função avanço e retrocesso de musicas nos botões de fones de ouvido bluetooth não funcionam.
  2. Hello, my name is Daniele, i have the 2.0.10 build 588 installed as a full version (since a couple of years now) and recently i bougth a new phone, Honor 8 from Huawei. The phone has Android 7 (Nougat) installed. I cannot control anymore Poweramp, via the car controls (bluetooth connected to the phone) or via my bluetooth headphones. Below more details: 1. I can just control the volume, i cannot skip tracks. Either using my bluetooth headphones (Sony SBH80, Samsung U) or my car controls. 2. The car display cannot read the album\songs tags. 3. The functions above works with the music player from Huawei, on Spotify or Deezer. They also used to work on my previous phone, which used an older version of Android (marshmallow). So in short the only thing i believe is different is the phone android version, or do you have any suggestion? Thanks
  3. I am using Poweramp version 2.0.10-build-588-play (Full Version) on Samsung Galaxy tab S3 running Android V7 . My problem is that despite unchecking "Resume On Wired Headset" checkbox, when I insert the headset plug, the player turns on and the music starts playing. Interestingly enough, it doesn't do it all the time. Anyone else is having this issue?
  4. Need the ability to have a widget on the home screen that allows the user to select a particular or custom preset such as in car or headphones or Bluetooth and have Poweramp equalizer presets activate. An example being I like my bass at 73% when listening through headphones but that setting distorts the sound quality through my car speakers when plugged in, hence I'd like my bass dropped to 0%. A small widget on the home screen with this functionality would make a huge difference I'm out lives.
  5. Listened to music. When I received a message in the "VK" sound went out and after 2 seconds continued. But the first 3 seconds he did not go from the headphones, but from the speaker. Then he switched back to the headphones. Android 4.4.2
  6. Good Morning Poweramp users, Today I have a quick quality test review for you. The kind folks at Underwater Audio sent us a copy of their many waterproof headphones for us to experience and give you guys an honest review. I used these headphones for over two weeks while traveling, swimming, and jumping into waterfalls and I must tell you, they truly are waterproof. When it came to experiencing the real Poweramp quality, these headphones were able to reproduce the highs and lows accurately. They sounded fantastic underwater, and while it does not have overly strong bass as I am used to, I would very much recommend these for active people. If there is a device you would like for us to test and give you an honest review about, reply below.
  7. Version 703/704

Poweramp v3 (ALPHA-3 test builds 703 / 704) for standard (ARM-based) Android devices. Released: 16 April 2016 This is alpha version of upcoming major Poweramp release. Please make backup of your existing Poweramp app/settings/db before installation as you won't be able to rollback to Poweramp v2 without alpha uninstallation, causing settings to be lost. You can install it over your existing v2 installation (your purchase and settings will be carried over). At this time, only ARM processors are supported. We'll add Intel support for later beta builds. Min. supported Android: 4.1. Skins are disabled in alpha as UI is partially changed and there is no point in (re-)building skins now. Alpha-3: - added DVC support for Hi-Res Snapdragon 24-bit PCM variant (e.g. LG Gx/v10, HTC A9, etc.) - Hi-Res support for Sony Z3, Meizu 5 Pro, Lenovo Vibe X3 - Look and Feel / Status Bar/Notification / Notification Colors option to override non-standard ROM notification colors - mp3 vbr seeking improvements - 2 Hi-Res API variants (Sony Hi Res and Snapdragon 24-bit offload) for Sony Z5/P - option to always process/send album art (useful for smartwatches) - bt pause/resume polishing - scrobbling fixes, removed obsolete ScrobbleDroid support - album art downloading update - language selection fix - better current output device detection (wired headset vs bt) - other few small fixes
  8. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I listen to music using a pair of Sony MDR-ZX330BT headphones. My problem is that I can't get the volume to go as loud as I'd like. At full volume, it is very loud. But I'd still like it to go a little louder and I'd like to ask a few questions. Is the volume of the music primarily due to the headphones or the smart phone? For those of you who may not know, the Sony MDR-ZX330BT headphones are Bluetooth (wireless) and I bought them for approx $100. Here are the specs: http://www.sony.com/electronics/headband-headphones/mdr-zx330bt/specifications Sony sells more expensive Bluetooth headphones. Their MDR10RBT sell for about $250. Would those headphones likely give me louder volume? http://www.staples.ca/en/Sony-MDR10...-with-Microphone/product_1015818_2-CA_1_20001 There are also other headphones for sale for $500 like these: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product...spx?path=ed86ca7a38b48d6a510774cf41b229cben02 When I look in Specifications for headphones, I can't see anything that would indicate just how high the volume would be. With speakers, they list the "watts" and that seems to indicate just how much volume the speakers will produce. But how can I guage how loud a pair of headphones will be? Or do I need to be looking at a different smart phone instead? Poweramp has several settings that control the maximum volume. I have explored them all. There is one setting called "Preamp Replay Gain" and that makes a huge difference to the maximum volume. But I have set it at maximum and when I increase the volume past a certain level, the sound begins to crackles. I should also say that I have tried the setting called "Limit" and it controls the limit of the volume to prevent crackling. I have tried it both on and off and it works fine. But I still can't get the volume to go as loud as I'd like. Can anyone give me any info? Do I need to buy new headphones? Or maybe a new smart phone? I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get more volume.
  9. So I have had this issue with Poweramp since I got it. Whenever I use the next or back track button theirs a chance that Poweramp will decrease the volume by 60%. If I let the Poweramp lockscreen fade away when my music is paused then the volume returns to normal. If I unchecked "direct volume control" in options then my music distorts at high volumes. It's a lose lose situation. Any way for a fix?
  10. Hi, since I've updated my phone to android Lollipop, Poweramp started to act different than it used to. When I unplug my headphones, it doesn't PAUSE the playback but it closes whole PA app and closes lockscreen and notification bars where I used to resume the music later. This is pretty annoying since I have to open Poweramp again from my launcher, switch to player screen and then I can start the music again. Of course I have the option to pause when disconnecting headphones ON in the settings. I hope this is a bug and not a feature now... Nexus 5, android 5.0.1 official, Poweramp v 2.0.10-build-573-play (Full)
  11. Sometimes the volume is set full when last heard the headphones but when it is reinserted during "auto resuming on headset are connected" is ON the sudden rise in volume can be injurious to ears so please set low volume when headphones are connected
  12. Hi All, So after being plagued with the ridiculously annoying "pause my music everytime I get a notification" issue, I finally caved and bought the full version of Poweramp after a friend of mine told me it had a option to enable/disable this feature! I am running the paid version of Poweramp 2.0.9-build-564-play on a AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.1.1. I have been rooted since then and have not touched the original ROM just removed all the bloatware and installed some root only apps. Anyways, I'm having a strange issue, I currently have both the short and permanent audio focus options unchecked. When using a Bluetooth headset, car connection, portable speaker etc notifications do NOT interrupt the music they simply play in the backround, perfect! Now...when I have headphones plugged in or the phone is plugged into an auxiliary input like my car's headunit the music pauses/ducks/whatever you want to call it when I get an email or notification. Cycling through the mute, vibrate only and ringer on options also pauses the music as soon as I hit the "ringer on" option and the phone makes a beep which I assume lets you know the ringer is on. Please help! Thanks
