      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Hi, nice to see you guys here. I would like to request something about audio output. So, I am running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Stock Android, Flash Plus 2 device, MTK Helio P10 based phone. Here is the details http://www.flash3c.com/flash-plus-2/hi-fi/ It seems that my phone can not maximize the output on Hi-Res. Even it can not detect wired headset in Hi-Res output menu (showing only USB DAC). I knew that it still experimental but some MTK phone like redmi note 4 (if I am not mistaken) can do that. So, ya it support AudioTrack / OpenSL ES output that can only provides audio 16bit 44khz max although I have 24bit 192khz music. I want to get 24bit 192khz output with experimental Hi-Res like on redmi note 4. Could you make my device compatible with Hi-Res feature on Poweramp? That should be amazing. Thank you!
  2. Hi I purchased Poweramp and have used it fine (no issues at all) on my earlier car head unit (i.e. stereo/satnav/etc..) running Android 4.0.3. Now I have just bought a new car head unit and on getting to google play store, to try to get it installed on this new one - it says it is not compatible with this device! This one runs 4.2.2 Jelly bean. What can I do? Please help
  3. I've been using power amp since i switched to android and i love it. i just recently bought a samsung galaxy gear 1 and have been pretty frustrated with the stock media controller. it is VERY basic, with the ability to pause, play next track, previous track and adjust volume, which is fine. the problem is that it doesnt display track title, album cover, or any other pertinent information. there is another good Gear app that shows this stuff but for it to work it requires that i download some shitty music player that i can't disable. Is there a chance that you could develop a companion app for the samsung gear store (different from the play store, dedicated for the samsung smartwatch collection.) that will maybe mirror the information that i have on my main app (full version). or at least an independent media controller that doesn't require the app so more people could use it? i would 100% spend the money on it.
  4. Hello Poweramp I was just going to type this quick feature request as it is something that may be important to more people than just me. First I'd like to say that I had just recently bought Poweramp and that I really enjoy it so far. The interface is awesome, and the fact that you can search for album covers is cool too. However one really irritating (as in irritating to the ears) bug is that when ever I play songs with the beats audio eq that comes with my phone and most other HTC products it gets really, really distorted and I have to turn it off and listen to songs without it on, thus restricting me from the full capability of my phone. So I was just going to type this to ask if it was possible for you guys to integrate beats audio capability into the app in Tue next update potentially as it would make me really happy. Thank you.
