      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Alright anyways I think it would be cool if there was a option where instead of Shuffle of all tracks of a list and stops in the end it would be great if it shuffles the whole time for example the same song could play more than once or something. Who cares! It's Endless Completely Random Shuffle! I don't want to know what's up next. I don't want to see the track counter when this is on. It's just completely random. The stock Android music app on my ZTE Axon 7 Mini does this it would be great if my favorite app did this as well. I feel like you can probably accomplish this by turning on Shuffle then turning on Repeat but it won't be the same because no songs would replay and I know what's up next. Like imagine finding a track you like *woohoo* and you're like "lol let me replay this" so you skip forward to a next track then go back to that previous track and you lost it *:O* I finally have almost 1000 songs but I wouldn't want to listen to it as a list, just completely random, forward and backwards. I like it maybe others will too but maybe not but it's just what I like.

  3. I recently switched to the AXON 7 MINI and the output is apparently 32 bit with 192 khz "Headphone Jack: 3.5 mm Hi Fidelity Sound Performance: Yes Speakers: Yes, dual speaker support Base support material: N-base material PlayBack Sound Playback Codecs: Dolby Atmos® Sampling Frequency: 192 kHz THD+N: -106 dB S/N: 120 dB Recording Channel: 2 channel (hi-fi), 1 channel (VAD) Resolution: 32 bit Sampling Frequency: 192 kHz MIC max input: 2.8 Vpp S/N ADC: 102 dB Conference Mode Directional Recording: Dimensional and Omni Directional Recording Range: Up to 8 meters (approximately 26 feet) Dedicated Audio Chipset: AKM 4962 4961 - HiFi main chipset to provide HiFi and recording features" Yeah I don't understand too much about that maybe they're talking about DAC but i see in the app there is no HI RES option and the sound through wired headphones is 48k and Bluetooth 44.1 and speaker is 48 again is this normal i don't know help me out here or is it yet to be worked on?
  4. V3 testing build 703
  5. Using Android 6... Zmax Pro ANYWAYS right here are some bugs I encountered If I skip tracks really fast the app crashes If I finish a song as in the first song and go by back to it over and over again it's now the 2nd or 3rd song in the list like it reshuffled If I leave the app and look at the widget the track counter will be at one then I goto sleep now it's at 2 or even higher THIS MAKES DOLBY AUDIO STOP WORKING COMPLETELY not a big deal I use DVC but still Sometimes the album art isn't right there it's in the corner or something and yeah this isn't a bug but if you turn on fade away controls and I'm skipping tracks it'll fade too quickly that's annoying And who knows maybe this isn't a bug but sometimes IT LOADS like I'll select a track sometimes and it won't move and the virtualizer will repeat the same motion (Is that the load screen lol) JUST SOME STUFF THAT BOTHERED ME OR DON'T FIX IT IT'S ALRIGHT
  6. My phone is16bit with a 96khz output but when I hook up the aux it changes to 48khz and when I change to Bluetooth it lowers even more to 44.1khz. I notice when I goto hi res output that 24bit users can change the khz to their liking but not us 16bit users and if you can I can't find it. I don't know much about audio related stuff but why can't I do this? It would be great if there was a option where I can use 16 bit and change the khz to my liking o.O I've been using this for atleast 3 years now can I get some help?
