      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Thanks for the tip, got my phone to work with Hi-res output too.
  2. If it were up to me, I'd introduce a three strike system where users get banned from posting for a month or something when they keep in complaining. Respect for Andre for being calm all the time while dealing with the shit users post here. Complaining won't make Max develop faster. It will only make him care less due to the patience lacking users making nothing but complaints. The release will come out when Max decides to and nothing you say or even Andre will change that. Just stop being a whiny little baby and just wait or buy a dedicated music player in the mean time.
  3. The new skin will be material design as the most people wanted instead of the beautiful skin the alpha has now but if you like the look of the sony app maybe someone will make a theme like that. Just gotta wait a few months or longer
  4. https://material.io/guidelines/ There you have the Material guidelines which say what Max needs to do to make the majority of the people happy. It WON'T be any better than the guidelines because then it wouldn't be Material Design. Lots of people thought it was a good idea to ditch the great UI that Poweramp has and replace it by some shiny new material design with lensflares and shit. Now we all have to wait for it and you know what? I'm getting more tired of the people complaining than the wait itself. If you don't know how to do it (better) just stfu please and keep waiting silently.
  5. The MP3 file you have might be from a different master, the best way to test the difference in audio quality is to convert the .flac files to .mp3 yourself. And then use ABX or just compare them from your phone
