      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code and is taking some time to get to a beta-test stage. See the forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Both are from Russia... Work together... Andre however stays in the UK
  2. God Knows! Its half of February over and still were have nothing on our hands😖
  3. Poweramp is good off being closed source . Given that all open source players i know are not that good. What Poweramp needs is a team behind it who have the same skills and vision as max himself
  4. Well android also uses audio processingfor that matter.. so you cannot get untouched playback for any player u use.its just a matter of who makes the most out of the dac/dsp of your device
  5. Personally for everyone lauding up phonographs ui and quality... It has good features but is plain bland. Its just material UI in plain form... Even v2 Poweramp with a material skin fares better even sound quality wise. As for the v3 UI the take on material design by max is interesting (never seen before). And therefore i wouldn't judge before actually using it myself. I feel v3 ui would be trend setting or unique... Something which Poweramp always is compared to other players
  6. Some cheddar ETA which he can actually achieve will be enough so us mice wont be thinking it will be releasing today everyday😐
  7. Yeah seems like it .. but i would love if the bars would be smaller in size and more in number. Also if the part of track which has played would be having some colour instead of faded gray. Maybe something to do in the final release
  8. I think they are the track timing bars i.e tapping on either side of the play/pause button. Or it might be gestures like swipe left/right up/down. Also the bar behind the button feels like a visualised progress bar which would change its shape based on the flow of the track
  9. These are from last may why are you posting them now
  10. Everyone has preferences andre . it is clutter free imo
  11. That actually looks cool😯.. however it would have been great if the play. Button was not opaque and white... Well get a skin for that anyway though👍
  12. Not just a new UI ... a CODE REVAMP.. why do you forget this when you complain about the material requests
  13. I agree. I mean for an app who has a such acclaim and a vast userbase. It Just feels that everything could be perfect if the development would have been properly managed. There are tons of apps on the play store with lots of development manpower. But hardly any can match the quality of PA. It is totally opposite for PA. It feels like a big download that was blazing fast till 99% and then failed. Only way max could've sorted this is by posting screenshots or providing a montly brief of his developmental work. But that is not happening. The beta was set to be released by November and half of January is gone now.
