jenluvs2sing
Hi all, I've downloaded music to my computer and transferred it to my phone so I know this is a phone only issue. I'll be listening to music, whether using Bluetooth or a corded headset, and it pauses for less than a second but it does it constantly and never in the same place. Doesn't matter which file I'm playing, and I've played the same files on my computer and it does not skip at all.
andrewilley
You don't mention your hardware at all, but is this from a memory card or internal memory. What are the file types/bitrate? Have you tried increasing the audio buffer and/or thread priority levels in Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks ? You could also try turning the DVC (Direct Volume Control) option off. jenluvs2sing
I'm so sorry, I should have included that. It's an HTC One M9, running 6.0, the music is on my SD card. The bit rates are all different but they're all mp3. I'll check the dvc settings, thanks!
andrewilley
Also try putting some music on the internal device memory and see if you get the same results there. Andre
jenluvs2sing
Actually I think the tweaks you gave me might have worked! I'm going to try it out tomorrow. I've been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack nonstop so that'll give me a good amount of time to find out if this works. Thanks!
ThisIsPaulDaily
I have this issue on a Kyocera hydro Vibe while using Bluetooth and headphones, my music collection is on an SD card. I'm running 2.0.10 build 588 full version I just went through and tweaked the buffer to +250 I'll see how that goes.
