CanuckWheels
I hate scrambling for the volume control on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) when a song recorded at a higher than average volume is played. Is it possible to have an auto volume leveler without having a muffling effect that some players have? Thanks.
andrewilley
You could turn on ReplayGain, but you'd need to make sure your songs are properly tagged for that to work (there are plenty of batch programs which can do that on a PC though). That will not dynamically adjust the level during louder and quieter portions of a single track though, it's a gain setting for the whole track. KSJ
Winamp will easily add replay gain attribute to all your songs. Load all your songs in Winamp, select them, then right-click and select "Send To:", then "Calculate Replay Gain".
andrewilley
Yup, lots of programs will do that. foobar2000 is another. Andre
