Guys

I tried xperia z ultra with Poweramp and creative omni soundcard through usb and it worked...

Is this function already implemented? Usb audio works for sure with Poweramp

Maybe it depends on phone and OS

I use 4.4.2 stock

Creative omni was recognised as input device like keyboard

It worked for audio but i couldnt use keyboard function with soundcard plugged in

Another vote for OTG USB DAC support.

It would be great if it can work like USB Audio Player Pro and talk directly to the USB DAC in addition to via the android system sound.

Kit kat broke system sound USB DAC support on quite a few phones including mine (LG G2) but USB Player Pro works fine.

Thanks.

This functionality is dependent on your device, ROM and kernel all supporting it - if your device, ROM and kernel all support USB hosting (OTG) and USB audio devices, all audio sources including Poweramp will play back through the DAC.

Ive registered to add my vote for this feature request.

With my HTC ONE, the only player that will output USB audio to my external portable DAC (fiio e17) is the Neutron player.

I strongly suggest adding this feature to Poweramp as doing so will attract many Audiophile users.

It's a great player otherwise, but without this feature it's unuseable for me.

i was force to buy the honkyo hf player amp in order to enjoy the full capabilities os mi oppo ha 2, but i really love Poweramp is the best music app out there please you need to implement the ability to use the full pcm capabilities of portables DAC/AMP. i really hate the user interface on the honkyo player :/

Definitely my vote also ...

USB Audio output is the #1 feature missing from Poweramp. Include this together with DSD64 and DSD128 codec support and you have a 'killer app'.

I am running Poweramp on my Minix Neo X8-H media hub ... storage is not an issue with LAN and USB functionality.

Cheers

al
