andrewilley Posted June 2, 2013 Share Posted June 2, 2013 I believe the only difference between .m3u and .m3u8 is the character encoding format (m3u8 uses unicode). I'd have thought it should be easy enough to re-save an m3u8 file using an 8-bit character format via any decent text editor, but I've not tried it.
